RU-Tea Panglao
RU-Tea Panglao is a milktea shop situated in the heart of Poblacion, Panglao. It
started out as home-based around March 2020 and officially launched as a business on
August 2020. There is certainly something here for everyone to enjoy, no matter what
you're looking for. It's a nice area to hang out with friends or just to relax by yourself. It
is a go to place for young individuals for most of them come for the atmosphere, while
others come for the dessert or the tea, combined with exciting, delectable sinkers.
The shop's native atmosphere is always very peaceful and refreshing. The aroma
of tea and boba fills the room as soon as you enter. The two-story shop has a very
homey feeling as you sit comfortably in its couch, chairs and as my food was brought to
me on the rattan side table, the open area allows the fresh air flow in every corner
making it the ideal spot to relax and savor a tasty beverage.
Their menu comes with 26 varieties of milktea flavors and three different sizes,
along with some tempting treats. Additionally, you can choose add-ons like jelly candies
or tapioca pearls. From the Classic to the Cheesecake series, it makes it difficult to
choose and so I went and had their bestseller the Ube Taro accompanied with their
famous corndog. They were absolutely magnificent. My cravings were fully satisfied by
the cold, subtle sweetness similar to vanilla with an underlying nutty flavor of the
milktea, which went excellently with the salty, crunchy, savory, cheesy corndog.
Everything was produced from scratch from the fesh taro root, the whole milk and
sugar that are used to make the Ube Taro Milktea and the treats had the coziness of
freshly made food, the baristas sure do take great care to choose only the best
ingredients, as well as making them. Without a doubt, the shop’s prices are incredibly
affordable for a beverage of such high quality.
What a delightful, heartfelt service. The baristas are always welcoming and
helpful to maintain the shop’s cleanliness. As I entered, I was instantly greeted with
many warm smiles and kind voices from the staff and surprisingly my food arrived in a
short matter of time. Furthermore, I happened to meet the owner, a beautiful middle-
aged woman, who was surprised in seeing me again for back in the days I was a very
loyal customer. She was in a rush yet, she still made time to greet me with her lovely
smile. Certainly, the service here is beyond excellent.
Bubble tea is unquestionably a unique beverage to taste as it is produced in a
variety of flavors and features vibrant, playful colors but I enjoy visiting RU-tea Panglao
the most. I highly recommend this shop because they not only provide the coziest
ambience in which you may enjoy your delightful beverage while lounging on a couch,
but also a photogenic setting where you can hang out with your friends.
