[First, provide an overview of who your client is, whom they serve, what they sell, and a bit of
their history.
Then, insert the background of this project. Why were you reached out to in order to help this
client, or if you reached out yourself, why did you reach out to this specific prospect?]
The Problem
[Provide an overview of the problem this organization is facing. If known, explain what the
cause of the problem is/was and the impact of the problem is, and what the eventual cost or
result would be if left unaddressed.]
Observations
[What have you noticed since working and communicating with the client? What have you
noticed that is contributing to the problem, and what have you noticed that could lay a
foundation for addressing the problem?

You can base these determinations off of observations from:

 Financial documents.
 Behaviors of your clients, their employees, and/or their customers in their professional
environment.
 Conversations and interviews with your clients, their employees, and/or their customers.]
Research and Information
[Here’s where you’ll provide the background for your ultimate decision. You can reference:

 A competitive analysis.
 A Porter’s Five Forced analysis.
 A SWOT analysis.
 Case studies and examples of similar situations in other organizations.
 The pros and cons of different solution options.]
Proposed Solution
[Explain the solution you’ve chosen and why. Outline the steps you’ll take to bring this plan to
life. You should outline the timeline, deliverables, and expected final result.]
Impact
[How will the final outcome of your solution impact the client for the better? You can highlight:

 Percent or Dollar Increases in Revenue or Profit.


 Percent Increase in Employee and/or Customer Retention.
 Percent or Dollar Decrease in Costs.
 Percent Increases in Productivity and/or Efficiency.]
DACI Framework
[The DACI framework outlines who is responsible for contributing to this project and what role
they have. Specifically, it highlights who the driver of the project is, any approvers of specific
parts of the project, contributors who handle deliverables, and those who need to remain
informed.

– internal or external – is responsible for.]
