Major Project Synopsis Batch B7

This document provides a summary of a student project that aims to perform multilabel classification of tweets from the COVID-19 pandemic using deep learning techniques. The project will analyze a dataset of tweets to understand public sentiment and emotions during the pandemic. It will apply and compare the BERT and LSTM machine learning algorithms to perform sentiment analysis, with the goal of identifying the most accurate algorithm. Upon completion, the project intends to help control the spread of misinformation and allow for multilabel analysis of the tweet data.

Project Objectives:
• To get twitter data set for tweets during COVID-19 pandemic and
analyse it based on emotions.
• To learn and apply machine learning concepts for the analysis of the
provided data using python.
• To learn and apply BERT (Bidirectional Encoder Representations
from Transformers) and LSTM (Long Short-Term Memory) algorithm
for “sentimental analysis on the given data set of the tweets during the
COVID-19 pandemic”.

System Architecture:

Project Outcomes:
• In conclusion, we will be analysing and executing the most optimized and
precise algorithm among LSTM and BERT algorithm for performing
“sentimental analysis on the given data set of the tweets during the
COVID-19 pandemic”.
• Try to obtain tweet specific to covid related keywords and avoid spreading
false news.
• Comparative analysis of the algorithms to find better accuracy.
• Applying the algorithm and analyse the outcomes.
• Comparing the algorithm and evaluate the efficiency of algorithms.

Product features:
1. Algorithm with higher accuracy will help to provide close analysis for
understanding the sentiments of people about the queries and views on
the pandemic and human behaviour.
2. It will help to control the spread of fake news across the internet.
3. It will help in multilabel outcomes analysis of the data.

Development environment:
