Being grateful and helpful to the elderly are among the most common
characteristic of humanity all over the world irrespective of cultural and social
.differences so family values are a part of people’s lifestyle
Plan and write an essay of 14 sentences (160 words), about the ways 1 and

Introduction:
Islam always advice us to care about elderly people and to
show gratitude. This essay will discuss both the ways and
reasons of showing gratitude and respect to the elderly.
Body:
Paragraph 1 : the ways of showing gratitude and respect to the elderly
- Helping them in everything
- Listen to them (advice)
- Spent time with them

Conclusion: To sum up, we should respect elderly people. There are many
ways and reasons to show that from them.

First, people should help the elderly in everything in their life. We
should show respect through holding the door to them. When they are
bout to stand or sit, we should hold their hand and help them. We can
also help them get dressed. Second, elderly people are experienced so
we should listen to their advice. I always ask my grandmother for advice
in everyday life aspects. Finally, we should spend time with our
grandparents. We should not let them alone. They feel happy when we
are among them.
