CALLS OUT THE NAMES OF NITAI AND CAITANYA, KRSNA-PREMA COMES LOOKING FOR HIM. OF-
FENCES DO NOT HINDER HIS PROGRESS, AND HE SOON SHEDS TEARS OF ECSTASY OUT OF PURE LOVE
OF GOD. BY THE MERCY OF LORD CAITANYA, ALL THE OFFENCES QUICKLY FLEE AWAY, THE HEART
BECOMES PURE, AND LOVE OF GOD FULLY BLOSSOMS…

INDEX
PRAYERS TO GET THE MERCY OF THE SPIRITUAL MASTER AND SRI CAITANYA
MAHAPRABHU
“May that Supreme Personality of Godhead in the form of Lord Sri Caitanya bestow His
causeless mercy upon us. His smiling glance at once drives away all the bereavements of the
world, and His very words enliven the auspicious creepers of devotion by expanding their
leaves. Taking shelter of His
lotus feet invokes transcendental love of God at once.”
CC Adi Lila 3.63
“All glories, all glories to the all-blissful holy name of Sri Krishna, which causes the devotee
to give up all conventional religious duties, meditation and worship. When somehow or other
uttered even once by a living entity, the holy name awards him liberation. The holy name of
Krishna is the highest nectar. It is my very life and my only treasure.”
Brihad- Bhagavatamrta 1.9 quoted in
CC Antya 4.71
Srila Prabhupada explained that the results of all devotional activities performed in
the holy dhama are magnified a thousand times. Therefore, one can make rapid advance6
ment if one lives in the holy dhama while avoiding offences. But if we commit offences, the
results of those offences are also magnified one thousand times. Therefore, one is advised to
carefully avoid committing any offence in the holy dhama.
Srila Bhaktivinoda Thakura has listed ten offences against the holy dhama that we
must carefully avoid in order to be fully benefitted from our visit to or residence in the holy
dhama:
Thus, we beg you to please follow the dress code and Vaishnava behaviour for Sri
Navadvipa Mandala Parikrama.
DRESS CODE:
For Men:
For Ladies:
✓ Sari, otherwise you can use a Gopi dress (skirt, choli and dupata that covers
you in the back)
VAISHNAVA BEHAVIOR:
✓ Couples should avoid their interactions in public ( intimate contacts i.e. hold-
ing hands).
✓ Devotees should not drink or eat from public shops.
✓ Devotees must be gentle and kind with the village people, if you don’t under-
stand what they are speaking, just smile and say “Hare Krishna”, if you have any prob-
lem in your communication with them, please call an Indian devotee.
1. A torch.
2. A bucket and mug for washing clothes.
3. A cup or a bowl for drinking water and milk.
4. A mat (straw or rubber) to rest upon.

6. A mosquito net and mosquito repellent.
7. Hygiene kit
8. Avoid bringing too many clothes and belongings.
9. A rope ( for hanging your clothes)
10. Vaseline and a foot-brush.

example)
3. When you are distributing prasada, please take care of your belongings simul-
taneously. Or ask a friend to watch it for you.
4. We encourage you to walk without shoes during Parikrama, to get the maximum
benefit.
PLEASE DO NOT:
1. Go alone to take bath in the Ganga.
2. Talk inside the rooms when the lights go out in the camp.
3. Take a Rikshaw for most of the Parikrama path. Parikrama means: we need to
walk, to get the maximum benefit.

Antardvipa, Mayapur
“My worshipable Lord eternally resides at Mayapur, situated on the east bank of the Ganges.
Although in the eyes of common people, Visvambhara took sannyasa and left Navadvipa to go
elsewhere, actually My Gauranga never gives up Mayapur or Navadvipa. The devotees can
perceive His daily pastimes. You, Jiva, will also see Gauranga dancing. Around Mayapur is
beautiful Antardvipa where Brahma received the darsana of Lord Gauranga. O Jiva, if you
want to see all this, please go on Parikrama. It will be very beneficial for you.”
Where: Yoga Pitha (Lord Caitanya appeared in this place and was living here till He accepted
sannyasa. After Mahaprabhu took sannyasa, Saci Mata, Vishnupriya Devi and their servants
such as Ishana Thakur remained here for many years. Many saintly persons were doing pil-
grimage here, such as Narottama das Thakur, Srinivas Acharya, Raghava Pandit and others)
Program:
• Speech by different Sannyasis and Senior devotees.
• Sankalpa vow (praying for the blessings of Sri Caitanya Mahaprabhu to perform Parikra-
ma).
(All these deities were installed by Srila Bhaktivinoda Thakur and Srila Bhaktisiddhanta
Sarasvati Thakur)

developed into a tree bearing ripe fruits.
2. Suvarna Vihar: Site of the capital city of King Suvarna Sena, who later appeared as

3. Narasiàhapallé: Çré Narasiàhadeva rested here after killing Hiraëyakaçipu.
4. Devapallé: Çré Narasiàhadeva was worshiped by the devas here.
5. Mandäkiné Lake: In this lake Çré Narasiàhadeva washed His nails which were
tainted by Hiraëyakaçipu’s blood.
“The Surabhi cow replied: ‘Let us go to Navadvipa-dhama. There we will worship Nimai.’ In-
dra and Surabhi then came here and engaged in the worship of Lord Gauranga which is very
easy and gives great benefit. If someone cries, chanting the holy name of Lord Gauranga, he
will obtain darsana of the Lord. After Indra and Surabhi performed their bhajan here, Lord
Gauranga manifested Himself exhibiting His most beautiful form, smiling sweetly. His tran-
scendental form was very gracious and He was the personification of the ecstatic store house
of all mellows. Lord Gauranga smilingly said, ‘I know your desire. Very soon I will manifest
My pastimes in Nadia. During this pastime you will serve Me here, so that you will not get
caught by the net of maya any more.’ Saying this Lord Gauranga disappeared. Surabhi devi
stays there eternally under the banyan tree and constantly serves the lotus feet of Lord Gau-
ranga. Because mother Surabhi is staying here on this island under a banyan tree, it is known
as Godrumadvipa… All the desires of the devotees are fulfilled here. If anyone worships Lord
Gauranga while residing here in a hut, he will attain His lotus feet.

Madhyadvipa
(Process: smaraëam)
The Rishis conversation in Madhyadvipa: ‘This pastime of Krsna in Nadia is so wonderful that
even the great demigods like Brahma do not know about it. Saci-nandana is free to do what-
ever He wants. It is not possible to predict His actions. In Kali Yuga He will distribute the
most sought-after jewel of Krsna-prema to all living entities with great care.’ Someone said,
‘Sri Gauranga Mahaprabhu is an ocean of mercy. The mercy He will give to the living entities
has never been distributed in this way before. He will take the devotees of all the incarnations
along with Him, He will be madly absorbed in sankirtana-yajna and infect the whole world
with His divine madness. Lord Gaurahari is the life of His devotees. He will take sannyasa and
travel widely and in doing so, He will fulfil the desires of the unlimited tirthas or holy places.
Finally, for the pleasure of Lord Jagannatha, He will stay in Sri Ksetra Puri-dhama.’

Koladvépa
(Process: päda-sevanam)
“One day during the afternoon , Lord Nityananda reached Koladvipa along with Sri Jiva and
others. While walking towards Kuliya-pahada (hill), Lord Nityananda told Sri Jiva, “The route
we are following, crossing the River Ganga, is the proper sequence for Parikrama. Once, Sri
Caitanya Mahaprabhu was engaged in chauda-mandala-sankirtana (chanting with fourteen si-
multaneous musical groups), in order to purify Chand Kazi. In the evening, Mahaprabhu left
Mayapur and went out along with His devotees. That night became Brahma-ratra (as long as
the night of Brahma). On that occasion Mahaprabhu was moving with the sankirtana party in
this same sequence. After that, every Ekadasi my Lord would go out on sankirtana. Some-
times He would circumambulate Antardvipa, taking the five krosh path and at other times He
would perform parikrama over the eight kroshas, according to His own desire. He would start
sankirtana from His house and go towards Barakona grata. Then he would proceed towards
Sridhara’s house from where he would come to the end of Antardvipa.”

2. Kurukñetra.

VÉPA town.
Rtudvipa
(Process: arcanam)
“At this place is the school of Vidya Vacaspati, the popular son of Visarada. Who did not
know him? Being the unalloyed servant of the Lord, by the power of his pure devotion he at-
tracted his own Prabhu while taking bath in the Ganga. When will I stand still on this bank
of the Ganga by the door of Vrida vacaspati’s school and view the opulence of the spiritual
kingdom? After a few moments, will the Lord who is the king among the sannyasis, suddenly
appear in the palace before my very eyes? Seeing the golden effulgence of the Lord in the
form of a sannyasi, I will fall to the ground in great anxiety. I will feel just as the gopis did
upon seeing Krsna in Dvaraka dressed like a royal prince; thus they cried while remembering
His sweet and simple cowherd pastimes on the bank of the Yamuna. I long to take the moon-
like Gauracandra back to Mayapur where He is dressed like a young boy and His divine limbs
are radiant, decorated with ornaments, where His hair is long and curly and His dhoti folded
thrice. Here He performs pastimes with His devotees in His own garden named Ishodyana. Of
course, this sannyasi is my Lord and I am just His servant. These different appearances that
the Lord assumes are but some of His unlimited pastimes. Still, my heart longs to take the
Lord back to the temple of Srivasa Pandita on the bank of Prithu-Kunda!”
Jahnudvépa
(Process: vandanam)
“Towards the north of Vidyanagara lies the extremely beautiful Jahnudvipa. There, visible to
all, is the forest where the sage Jahnu performed austerities. Jahnu Muni drank the water of
the Ganga and Ganga devi reappeared from this great sage. Thus she is known as Jahnavi. The
ashrama of Bhismadeva, the great devotee of Lord Sri Krsna, is also located here, At this place
Bhismadeva systematically learned about Bhagavata dharma and here Jahnu Muni, worship-
ing the Lord without any duplicity, easily achieved the lotus feet of Sri Krsna Caitanya. ”
“Lamentation, fear, death, all causes of disturbance, all material desires, and all afflictions of
the conditioned souls cannot exist here.”

Modadrumadvépa
(Process: däsyam)
“Nityananda prabhu said, “This place, which is situated in one corner of Navadvipa-dhama in
the shape of an eight-petalled lotus, is undoubtedly Vaikunthapuri. Lord Narayana resides in
this Sri Vaikuntha, which is situated in the spiritual sky, Paravyoma. Vaikuntha lies beyond the
Viraja River. Maya or illusion has no influence upon this place. Here Lord Narayana is served
by Sri-devi and Bhu-devi, and the brahmajyoti is the effulgence of this spiritual land. With
their material vision, people cannot understand the transcendental nature of this place. In his
Narayana-dhama, Narada muni once saw the Lord with his transcendental vision. Narada saw
the Narayana form turn in to the form of Gaurasundara. After seeing this, Narada Muni stayed
here for some time. ”
Navadvipa Dhama Mahatmya,
By Bhaktivinoda Thakur
“Arkadeva (the sun god), being merciful upon me, will appear in front of me with his red-
dish complexion, wearing saffron coloured cloth, his whole body smeared with sandal-
wood and tears flowing from his eyes while he chants the holy name of Gaurahari.”
Rudradvépa
(Process: sakhyam)
“This Rudradvipa is a place for all the Rudras (various forms of Lord Siva), who gather to sing
the glories of Lord Gouranga. Sri Nila-lohita, the chief to he Rudras, dances here with great
jubilation every day and the demigods happily shower flowers form the sky in appreciation.”
At Rudradvipa is situated Nidaya Gatha. This is where Lord Caitanya crossed the River Ganga
on His way to Katva to take sannyasa. He took sannyasa at the end of January 1510, just be-
fore His 25th birthday. His sannyasa name was Sri Krsna Caitanya Mahaprabhu. On the day
that He decided to enter the sannyasa order, He informed only Nityananda prabhu, Gadad-
hara pandita, Saci mata, Candrashekara and Mukunda. The Lord got up during the night and
prepared to leave home for the last time. As he approached the gate, Mother Saci was stand-
ing there like a statue. She was in total shock and her eyes were full of tears. She was unable
to say anything to prevent Him from leaving. The Lord circumambulated Mother Saci three
times and offered His obeisances. He took some dust from her feet, then left home forever.
After leaving home the Lord swam across the Ganga and went to Katwa. Nidaya means
“without mercy”. The residents of Navadvipa accused the Lord of being without mercy, be-
cause He was leaving them.

Sémantadvépa
(Process: çravaëam)
“This island Simantadvipa was also known as Simuliya dhama and is located south of the
Ganga. When Sri Nityananda prabhu took Sri Jiva on Parikrama, He mentioned that this is-
land would be taken over by the Ganga. Only one place would be visible where materialistic
people would worship Parvati known as Simantini. Srila Bhaktivinoda Thakura has stated in
Navadvipa bhava taranga, “Northwest of Mathura, I shall see the splendour of the island of
Simantadvipa, whose border is the bank of the River Ganga. There, Goddess Parvati-devi was
distressed and gained relief by placing the dust of the lotus feet of Lord Gauranga upon the
part of her hair (Simanta).”
Antardvépa
(Process: ätma-nivedanam)
This very special island is a place of many wonderful pastimes, the process here is full sur-
render, this is where ISKCON Mayapur, Yoga Pitha and Sri Caitanya Sarasvati matha are situ-
ated. Here, Lord Caitanya and Lord Nityananda met for the first time.
“…Sri Caitanya Mahaprabhu understood that Lord Nityananda had reached Navadvipa. He
felt great happiness within His heart and informed all the vaishnavas, “O, My dear brothers!
Within the next two or three days a great personality will come here.” But no one could un-
derstand about whom the Lord was talking about. One morning Lord Gaurancandra had con-
cluded His worship of Lord Visnu, He came to meet with the devotees. The Lord said, “Today
I had a very wonderful dream. A great chariot called Taladhvaja came and stopped in front of
my house. Sitting on that chariot was a great personality with huge body, He was holding a
club over His shoulder and in His left hand he had a kamandalu pot bound to a stick. He was
wearing blue cloth, had a blue turban on His head, and a wonderful earring was hanging from
His left ear. Upon seeing this character I felt He had the mood of Haladhara, Lord Balaram. He
asked me ten or twenty times, ‘Is this the house of Nimai Pandita?’ He looked like a great
avadhuta. I have never seen such a personality. I felt very respectful to Him and asked Him, ‘
O, great personality! Who are you? He smiled and said, I am Your brother. Tomorrow We will
meet each other.’ From this dream I think a great person must have come to Navadvipa. I
have told you before that very soon we will meet with a great personality. O Haridas! O, Sri-
vasa! Please go and find out whether He has already arrived…”

Vaishnava Songs
Srila Prabhupada once said: “These Vaishnava songs are like a thunderbolt which can
crack mountain-like hearts. The mountain does not know the power of a thunderbolt but it
will crack him.”
He also said, “Everybody should sing Vaishnava songs”. Somebody can say that we
don’t know Bengali so we don’t understand the meaning. To this argument Srila Prabhupada
says, “Then also you should sing these Vaishnava songs.”
Srila Prabhupada said that if one understands the purports of the song of Bhaktivinoda
Thakur and Narottama das Thakur that is sufficient to attain Love of God.

anandambudhi-vardhanam prati-padam purnamritaswadanam
sarvatma-snapanam param vijayate sri-krishna-sankirtanam
Glory to the Sri Krishna Sankirtana, which cleanses the heart of all the dust accumulat-
ed for years and extinguishes the fire of conditional life, of repeated birth and death.
This sankirtana movement is the prime benediction for humanity at large because it
spreads the rays of the benediction moon. It is the life of all transcendental knowledge.
It increases the ocean of transcendental bliss, and it enables us to fully taste the nectar
for which we are always anxious.
2
namnam akari bahudha nija-sarva-shaktis
tatrarpita niyamitah smarane na kalah
etadrishi tava kripa bhagavan mamapi
durdaivam idrisham ihajani nanuragaha
O my Lord, Your holy name alone can render all benedictions to living beings, and thus
You have hundreds and millions of names like Krishna and Govinda. In these transcen-
dental names You have invested all Your transcendental energies. There are not even
hard and fast rules for chanting these names. O my Lord, out of kindness You enable us
to easily approach You by Your holy names, but I am so unfortunate that I have no at-
traction for them.
3
trinad api sunichena
taror api sahishnuna
amanina manadena
kirtaniyah sada harih
One should chant the holy name of the Lord in a humble state of mind, thinking oneself
lower than the straw in the street; one should be more tolerant than a tree, devoid of all
sense of false prestige and should be ready to offer all respect to others. In such a state
of mind one can chant the holy name of the Lord constantly.
4
na dhanam na janam na sundarim
kavitam va jagad-isha kamaye
mama janmani janmanishvare

O almighty Lord, I have no desire to accumulate wealth, nor do I desire beautiful
women, nor do I want any number of followers. I only want Your causeless devotional
service birth after birth.
5
ayi nanda-tanuja kinkaram

O son of Maharaja Nanda [Krishna], I am Your eternal servitor, yet somehow or other I
have fallen into the ocean of birth and death. Please pick me up from this ocean of
death and place me as one of the atoms at Your lotus feet.
6
nayanam galad-ashru-dharaya

O my Lord, when will my eyes be decorated with tears of love flowing constantly when I
chant Your holy name? When will my voice choke up, and when will the hairs of my
body stand on end at the recitation of Your name?
7

O Govinda! Feeling Your separation, I am considering a moment to be like twelve years
or more. Tears are flowing from my eyes like torrents of rain, and I am feeling all vacant
in the world in Your absence.
8

I know no one but Krishna as my Lord, and He shall remain so even if He handles me
roughly by His embrace or makes me broken hearted by not being present before me.
He is completely free to do anything and everything, for He is always my worshipful
Lord unconditionally.

(1 )
Worship Gauranga, say "Gauranga", chant Gauranga's name!
He who worships Gauranga is my life and soul!
(2)
Chanting "Gauranga", go out, dancing with your two arms upraised!
(3)
One's miseries end by worshipping Gauranga, by chanting "Gauranga".

TRANSLATION
1
When the rising sun appeared in the East, the jewel of the twice-born, Lord Gaurasun-
dara, awakened, and, taking His devotees with Him, He went all over the countryside
towns and villages
2
The mṛdangas (khol) resounded "tāthaī, tāthaī," and the jhājas [large metal karatālas
that look like small cymbals] in that kīrtana played in time. Lord Gaurāńga's golden form
slightly trembled in ecstatic love of Godhead, and His foot bells jingled.
3
All the devotees chanted the names Mukunda, Mādhava, Yadava and Hari, their mouths
being filled with the vibrations. They would announce to the still sleeping people, "You
spend your nights uselessly sleeping and your days decorating your bodies!
4
You have achieved such a rare human body, but you do not care for this gift. You re-
main not serving the darling of Yaśodā and slowly fall through your last moments to
death.
5
With every rising and setting of the sun, a day passes and is lost. Then, why do you
remain idle and not serve the Lord of the heart?
6
This temporary life is full of various miseries. Take shelter of the holy name as your
only business.
7
To penetrate the darkness of ignorance and bless everyone's heart, the holy name has
risen like the shining sun.
8
Drink the pure nectar of the holy name. There is nothing but the name to be had in the
fourteen worlds. It has filled the soul of Srī Bhaktivinoda Thākura.

1
Lord Gaurānga is calling, "Wake up, sleeping souls! Wake up, sleeping souls! How long
will you sleep in the lap of the witch called Māyā?
2
You have forgotten the way of devotional service and are lost in the world of birth and
death.
3
I have descended just to save you; other than Myself you have no friend in this world.
4
I have brought the medicine that will wipe out the disease of illusion from which you
are suffering. Take this mahā-mantra-Hare Kṛṣṇa, Hare Kṛṣṇa, Kṛṣṇa Kṛṣṇa, Hare Hare/
Hare Rāma, Hare Rāma Rāma Rāma, Hare Hare."

TRANSLATION
1) The moonlike Lord Gaura Chanda arrives in Vrndavana while dancing, swaying to and
fro, and singing the glories of Lord Hari.
2) The creepers adorning the trees of Vrndavana are overwhelmed with ecstatic love,
and they are speaking about the glories of Lord Hari. Flocks of birds who live in the
groves are singing the name of Lord Hari.
3) Lord Gaura says, “Hari! Hari!” a female parrot responds, “Hari! Hari!” and then all
male and female parrots start singing a loud chorus of the name of Hari.
4) Becoming intoxicated by the holy name, the deer come forward from out of the for-
est. The peacocks and peahens are dancing and frolicking in ecstatic love.
5) Lord Hari is in His heart, Lord Hari is in His meditation, and He always chants the
name of Hari with His voice. Gaura Chanda is intoxicated by ecstatic mellows and rolls
around on the ground while singing and singing Harinama.
6) Arriving on the bank of the Yamuna River, He dances wildly while chanting
“Hari! Hari!” Mother Yamuna becomes so ecstatic that she arises and comes forward to
wash Lord Gauranga’sfeet.

1) Gurudeva, give to this servant just one drop of mercy. I am lower than a blade of
grass. Give me all help. Give me strength. Let me be as you are, without desires or as-
pirations.
2) I offer you all respects, for thus I may have the energy to know you correctly. Then,
by chanting the holy name in great ecstasy, all my offenses will cease.
3) When will such mercy fall to this one who is weak and devoid of intelligence? Allow
me to be with you.
4) If you examine me, you will find no qualities. Your mercy is all that I am made of. If
you are not merciful unto me, I can only weep, and I will not be able to maintain my
life.

TRANSLATION
1) I did not worship Lord Gauranga Prabhu and thus I became full of suffering. I re-
fused to accept the treasure of pure love of Krsna, and thus I became lost.
2) I reject the treasure of love of Krsna and deliberately struggled to become poor. I
dived into a host of sinful deeds.
3) I rejected the association of the saintly devotees, and instead tried to enjoy among
the impious non-devotees. In this way I became caught in the noose of karma.

TRANSLATION
1) I am singing news of great happy tidings. Lord Nityananda Himself has opened a
market-place of the Holy Name in Surabhi-Kunja.
2) The news of its great results is that He is selling the pure Holy Name in that market-
place for the price of only one's faith.
3) Lord Nityananda, the proprietor of the market, seeing all the devotees become at-
tracted, is selling them the Holy Name after bargaining with them.
4) O brother, if you want to buy the Holy Name, then go with me. We must go to the
presence of that great soul, Nityananda.
5) You will buy the name of Krsna, I will take my commission and all of our desires will
be fulfilled.
6) Lord Nityananda is greatly merciful. Taking only one's faith, He gives the highest ec-
stasy.
7) If Nitai sees only once tears in the eyes while chanting the name "Gaura", then He
gives all resources to that person.
8) He gives the pure teachings of Krsna to everyone and does not care for one's birth,
wealth, knowledge and strength.
9) Now, giving up the illusory snare of Maya, either remain in household life or in the
forest as a sannyasi for no more troubles remain.
10) There is no more fear of the age of Kali. The merciful Nityananda gives the Holy
Name to even the candalas.
11) Bhaktivinoda calls out "Except for the lotus feet of Lord Nityananda there is no oth-
er shelter!"

3) Being careful to remain free of offenses; just take the holy name of
Lord Krsna. Krsna is your mother, Krsna is your father, and Krsna is the treasure of your
life.
4) Giving up all sinful activities, carry on your worldly duties only in relation to
Lord Krsna. The showing of compassion to other souls by loudly chanting the holy name
of Krsna is the essence of all forms of religion.

TRANSLATION
1) When, oh when will such a condition be mine? Renouncing all of my mundane de-
sires which are giving rise to various types of bondage, I will give up this dark, ghastly
material existence.
2) I will build my small hut at Navadvipa-dhama, seeing the land as being non-different
from Vrndavana-dhama. There I will finally establish my relationship under the shelter
of the lotus feet of the Son of Mother Saci.
3) Living in a solitary place in a spiritually conscious forest on the banks of the Ganga, I
will incessantly drink the pure nectar of Krsna's name, and I will loudly shout the name
of Gauranga thus:
4) "Oh Gaura-Nitai! You two Brothers are the only true friend of all the fallen souls! I
am the lowest of the low, most fallen and wicked-minded, so kindly bestow Your ocean
of mercy upon me.
5) Thus repeatedly sobbing and calling out, I will roam all over the abode of 32 square
miles, sometimes on one bank of the Ganga and sometime on the other. And some-
times, while wandering about, if I ever receive a drop of good fortune, I may suddenly
glance over at the base of a tree (and behold some vision there…)
6) I will blurt out: "Ha Ha, how wonderful! What amazing thing have I seen now?!!",
and I will faint senseless on the spot. Regaining consciousness later, I will hide and
weep secretly, remembering that all this ecstasy is due to receiving just a tiny speck of
Sri Sri Gaura-Nitai's mercy.

TRANSLATION
1) The two Lords, Nitai-Gauracandra, are very merciful. They are the essence of all in-
carnations. The specific significance of these incarnations is that They introduced a
process of chanting and dancing that is simply joyful.
2) My dear brother, I request that you just worship Lord Caitanya and Nityananda with
firm conviction and faith. If one wants to be Krsna conscious by this process, one has to
give up his engagement in sense gratification. One simply has to chant, "Hare
Krsna! Hari Hari!" without any motive.
3) My dear brother, just try and examine this. Within the three worlds there is no one
like Lord Caitanya or Lord Nityananda. Their merciful qualities are so great that upon
hearing Them even birds and beasts cry and stones melt.
4) But Locana dasa regrets that I am entrapped by sense gratification. Since I have no
attraction for the lotus feet of Lord Caitanya and Lord Nityananda, then Yamaraja, the
superintendent of death, is punishing me by not allowing me to be attracted by this
movement.

2) If you just understand that the spirit soul is the eternal servant of Krsna, you will
never have any more sorrows. Chant Hare Krsna and your eyes will fill with tears and
your body will feel transcendental shivering. Chant, chant "Radha-Krsna!" Everyone
chant!
3) Simply chant "Radha-Krsna" and join with us. Those are the only alms we beg.
Chant, chant "Radha-Krsna!" Everyone chant! "All dangers will be gone when that
Name is chanted," says Bhaktivinoda Thakura. Chant, chant "Radha-Krsna!" Everyone
chant!

stroyed and all desires are fulfilled.
6) I am the servant of these six Goswamis. The dust of their lotus feet is my fivefold
subsistence.
8) When these six Goswamis lived in Vraja, they revealed the eternal pastimes of
Sri Sri Radha and Krsna.
9) In ecstasy, sing the name of Lord Hari and worship Vrindavan, joyfully fixing your
mind upon the lotus feet of the bona-fide spiritual master and the pure devotees.
10) The lotus feet of my guru and the vaisnavas are my aspiration.

1) When will that opportune moment come to us, when there will be shivering of the
body as soon as we chant Lord Gauranga's name? While chanting Hare Krsna, when
will there be tears in the eyes?
2) When will I obtain the mercy of Lord Nityananda-candra? When, by His mercy will
the desire for material enjoyment become very insignificant?
3) When the mind is completely purified, being freed from material anxieties and de-
sires, then I shall be able to understand Vrndavana and the conjugal love of Radha and
Krsna, and then my spiritual life will be successful.
4) When shall I be very much eager to study the books left by the Six Gosvami's, head-
ed by Srila Rupa Gosvami and Srila Raghunatha dasa Gosvami? By their instruction I
shall be able to properly understand the loving affairs of Radha and Krsna.
5) My only aspiration is to attain the lotus feet of the Six Gosvamis headed by Srila
Rupa Gosvami and Srila Raghunatha dasa Gosvami. Narottama dasa constantly prays
to attain their lotus feet.
