Ans:-The Congress party divided into two groups. First group was no
changers supported by Vallabhbhai Patel, Rajagopalachari and Rajendra
Prasad and second group was Pro changers supported by CR Das , Motilal
Nehru and vitthalbhai Patel . Pro changers wanted to contest election. In
1923 they formed the Congress Khilafat Swarajya party that come to be
known as the Swaraj Party with C.R. Dass as his president.

2.What were the main objective of civil disobedience movement? could


they be achieved by the Nationalist ?
Ans:-The main objective of civil disobedience movement were
• violation of salt law.
• non payment of land revenue and other taxes.
• boycott of government controlled Institutions offices and schools.
• boycott of foreign clothes.
• picketing of shops selling in toxic substances.
• organizing strikes meetings and demonstrations .
Yes ,these objectives were achieved by the Nationalist.

Ans:-The following were the main features of the Government of India Act-
• Establishment of Federation of India.
• the act granted provisional autonomy diarchy was abolished and
introduce at the centre
• the act made provisions for the establishment of a federal court.
• give special power and responsibilities to the Governor.

Commission ?
Ans:-Congress opposed biting that it would not accept anything less than
complete freedom of the nation. oppose the proposal because it had failed
to recognize a separate electorate for the Muslims.

Ans:-Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose Became chairman of Indian National
Army in 1943 and gave the slogan Jai Hind Delhi Chalo and you give me
blood and I will give you freedom. On 21st October 1943 he set up a
provisional government of free India in Singapore and March towards
Assam.

Ans:-The main recommendations of cabinet mission were-
• retain the unity of India.
