Basic Slave Laws

Slaves must address all free people with respectful titles and may only use their master's first name with permission. Slaves have no rights or possessions of their own - their master's will is absolute law. Slaves are not to act on feelings of jealousy, possessiveness or affection towards their master, and are to remain perfectly submissive and pleasing at all times. They must avoid interrupting conversations or touching weapons, money or other possessions without explicit permission.

Basic Slave Laws

1. Slaves must address all Free Men, and Women (those who are not slaves, or pets) as Sir, or Maam. All slave names must begin with a lowercase letter. The names of Masters/Mistresses will always begin with an uppercase letter. Slaves are only allowed to address a Free Man by His given name when permitted. 2. While Free Men may not always be right, they are, by definition, never mistaken. Therefore, slaves may not argue with Free Men, especially in public. Remember, you have the last two words in any disagreement, and they are, "Yes, Sir/Ma'am/Miss." 3. Slaves have no rights; this also means that you are not to have any possessions, unless given consent by your Master. Not even your name is your own, and can be changed according to your Master's wishes. In fact, for an unowned slave, your name may be changed multiple times by any Free Man's whim; so be prepared. Any items your Master gives you can just as easily be taken away. His will supersedes your own, and His tiniest whim is your absolute Law. 4. Jealousy and possessiveness of one's Master are not becoming in a slave. It is you who is owned, not He. While any human may feel these emotions, a slave does not act upon them. How you handle these feelings when you experience them may speak for your maturity and growth. Most importantly, you are not to develop feelings for your Master, and if by unfortunate chance, do not act upon them. 5. Slaves are not to enter/interrupt the conversations of Free Men, and Women. If you wish to converse with other slaves, do so in MSG's. Refrain from discussing personal, everyday issues publicly. 6. Slaves are not touch any form of weaponry lest permitted by their Master, or Free Men. Slaves are also not allowed to touch any form of currency without the expressed authorization from their Master, or of Free Men. 7. Slaves are to be pleasing at all times; there is no room for PMS, or bad moods. Perfection of service and submission are your primary goals. 8. Slaves are required speak in third person. Therefore, you are not to use the words, "I," "me," or "mine." Instead, say, "this one," "this slave," or "this girl/boy." The exception is in speaking of a slaves particular Master. If permitted, you may be allowed to say, "my Master." 9. It is recommended to ask for entry into a room if you are unsure of the channel's policy. Always ask permission before leaving a channel, or going away from your keyboard.

10. Never correct another in the open channel. Instead, send a message. If you are unsure of something, it's always a good idea to consult a more-experienced slave for advice. 11. While you may not be roleplaying, you are always expected to mind these rules, and you are never to disrespect a Master, Mistress, Free Man, or a Free Woman.
