EXECUTIVE SUMMARY

Our lecturer, Madam Norlaila has assigned us an assignment to do some selling or any
other services to others this semester for us to practice being entrepreneurs. I’ve decided to
sell cheese tart I ordered from the supplier to complete my assignment. However, I
recognised the potential to offer these cookies to students and others in the area because they
are tasty, fresh, fluffy, creamy, and easy to handle due to their size.

I can also make money by doing this. I used WhatsApp as my social networking
platforms. I’m using my university group WhatsApp to promote my cheese tart to the student.
These cheese tarts are also promoted to university students. It is pre order item, so I will take
the order one week early. Then, the order will be imported from the supplier in Bangi,
Selangor.

I didn’t take too much profit. I’ll take RM2 for every order in my intention to help
university student to satisfy their crave to eat cheese tart.

PROJECT DESCRIPTION

For this business activity, I decided to sell the cheese tart I ordered from the supplier.
There are two flavour of the cheese tart which is blueberry and strawberry. As a result,
customers can select their preferred flavour. Customers will receive cheese tart and box with
each order. I also chose to offer cheese tart from this supplier since they place a high value on
food quality. These not-too-sweet cheese tart are ideal releasing stress from homework and
assignments. Because I am a cheese tart fans, I chose to offer these cheese tart. To stay awake
when working on assignments, I like to eat. These cheese tart also have a flavour that is not
overly sweet. I want everyone to get a taste of these amazing cheese tart. From here, I
deduced that these cheese tart have a potential of becoming popular among students. I am not
only able to pleasure the people around me, but I am also able to create a side income by
selling these cheese tart while satisfy students crave. As a result, I was able to save some of
my pocket money for the future.

Students in college have been my target market for these cheese tart. This is due to the low
cost of my cheese tart for students. They get three option which is 6 pcs/pax, 16 pcs/pax, and
25 pcs/pax for an affordable price. As a result, the product is extremely user-friendly. In
October of 2022, I launched this little business. I take a week to collect an order of this
product and forward the order to supplier to prepare it. After a day, I’ll take the product from
the supplier and distribute it to buyer. My delivery will take place between 6 pm to 9 pm. It
went on until my cheese tart supply was depleted.

This firm is based in Bandar Baru Bangi, Selangor where I currently reside. One of the
methods I do is to create a unique poster to promote this product. I've shared the poster on
WhatsApp. I utilize social media tools to stay up with current events. This platform has made
this cheese tart business known to the general population. In addition, I requested my sister's
assistance taking the stock from the supplier.

Throughout the sale of these cheese tart, I can polish my skills in accounting and business
knowledge I’ve learnt in high school. I was able to polish my accounting for earnings and
losses in a business, for example. When dealing with consumers, I also learned how to create
words. This transaction gave me the confidence to try something new. Project management,
for example, or the capacity to manage projects of any size, is critical for small business
owners. It is important to me since it will help me handle the management of my company. I
need to manage management properly and beautifully if I want to run a lucrative business.
Another thing I've learned is that in order for my products to sell out, I need to maintain a
positive mindset and not give up easily.

The mistake I could make while executing this activity is posting the wrong product that
the buyer requested. For example, if a consumer receives an insufficient quantity of a
product, this is something I need to avoid. Then there's the possibility that I was sloppy in
making sure the flavour the client desired was correctly packaged, which meant I had to pack
carefully and double-check before sending it to the customer. Finally, if my product is sold
out, I may make the error of restocking additional supply. This will most likely make the
client feel uncomfortable dealing with me.

Finally, I was overjoyed when I finished my business since I had persevered in the face of
adversity. One of the challenges I had was confirming the order before forwarding it to the
supplier to check if it is enough when producing the product. Furthermore, I struggled to
ensure that the cheese tart posted were in acceptable condition. My consumers, on the other
hand, are still happy with the service I deliver. As a result, I am overjoyed that I can provide
my customers with the greatest service possible.
CONCLUSIONS

This transaction led me to the conclusion that the company has transformed my
perspective on my career as an entrepreneur. Now I am more open-minded and believe that
knowledge of this topic is critical. Everyone, from the smallest to the largest product, has the
right to enter this field, in fact, it is not impossible to be marketed not only in the country but
also abroad. By doing this assignment, many new things I can learn including high
communication skills, especially when dealing with customers, in this way, customers will
feel more confident and comfortable to deal with us and will be interested in our products.
What's more essential is that I can add to my business experience, and I'm not easily
discouraged because there are ups and downs in everything, including this industry. To
summarize, I believe and am certain that this field of business offers me numerous
advantages in addition to the ability to earn a significant income.
