Through this course, students are expected to:

 Achieve everyday basic communication ability such as introducing oneself, asking


location, and shopping
 Recognize and express each contents based on their daily and personal life such as
yesterday’s routine, describing weather, time, making an appointment, expressing
weekend activities and plan.
 Recognize and express asking and answering simple questions with basic vocabulary
and expressions.

Module Overview
In this chapter, we are going to learn weather. If you study this chapter well, it will be useful when
you express seasons and weather

In completing this chapter, you should be able to:
 Recognize the use of ‘그리고’ and ‘하고’
 Recognize the use of ‘안’ (negation)
 Vocabularies about seasons and weather

Roadmap/ Tip
To recognize a foreign language, it is necessary to listen and speak a lot. Therefore, I recommend
attending webinars whenever possible. You must memorize the new vocabulary. This will be an
important key to level up your language. Do not be shy to speak Korean. Keep reading aloud and
keep writing legibly.

B Grammar: ‘그리고’and ‘하고’

‘그리고’ comes at the beginning of a sentence to connect it to the previous


sentence. In contrast, ‘하고’ is used to connect two nouns.

‘그리고’ sentence +sentence ‘하고’ noun +noun

저는 갈비를 좋아해요. 그리고 불고기도 저는 갈비하고 불고기를 좋아해요.


좋아해요. 한국어하고 중국어를 공부해요.
한국어를 공부해요. 그리고 중국어도
공부해요.

Example 1〉
가: 커피를 좋아해요?
가: 라면을 먹어요?
나: 네, 커피를 좋아해요.
나: 네, 라면을 먹어요.
그리고 우유도 좋아해요
그리고 김밥을 먹어요.
