TIFICATION
American Block Mobile Recertification team provides flowline and valve maintenance. We perform a
visual inspection, magnetic particle inspection, and ultrasonic thickness inspection. We also provide
I.D. banding on all parts inspected. If needed, we repair or replace wing nuts, replace any bad seals,
rebuild valves and repaint items accordingly. We measure test iron to 6K-10K-15K PSI.

HAMMER SEAL UNIONS
Hammer Seal unions have been utilized for years in oilfield piping systems. Mud fluid drilling systems
that connect the steel tanks to the pumps need to have a leak proof and quickly detachable connection
with a large diameter pipe size. American Block manufactures hammer seal unions from diameter
sizes 6” – 12”. The solid o-ring locks down on the O.D. of the pipe as the hammer nut is tightened. All of
the hammer seal unions are rated for 500 PSI. You can achieve a misaligned sealed connection with
American Block Hammer Seal unions.
