Defiance Takistan RP
Rules
Welcome to TRP! Here you will find the rules and
conduct guidelines that are expected in the game.
Please read them thoroughly as it is your sole
responsibility to understand them. Rules are subject
to change at any time.
General Rules
1. Racism, homophobia, and bigotry will not be tolerated.
2. Evidence submitted into tickets will be required to have at least 2 minutes
BEFORE and AFTER the situation you are reporting.
2.1. Compensation will only be given for someone breaking rules, bugs, or
broken features.
3. If you receive large sums of money by picking it up off the ground or being given
it by someone else, you must report it. Anti-cheat will flag you, and you may get
banned. Bring evidence as to how you retrieved it.
4. Do not dupe items or exploit game features for anything other than their intended
purpose.
5. Entering the debug zone is prohibited.
6. Metagaming is not allowed, you must find out things through roleplay. Example:
Using discord to know someone’s name.
7. Powergaming is not allowed. Example: Attempting to use some made-up means
to overpower a situation into your favor.
8. Going out of character to tell someone they are breaking the rules is not allowed,
punishment is up to staff discretion and the severity of the case.
8.1. Try to remain in character as much as possible.
9. Cop baiting is not allowed.
10. You must value your life. If someone or a group has a clear advantage over you,
you must comply.
11. Forcing someone to take money out of their bank account is not allowed.
Example: Restraining someone and bringing them to an ATM to get money.
12. Soft logging to get to another location is not allowed.
13. You may not revive someone to rob or kill them.
14. Killing yourself in jail is considered Fail RP.
15. If a roleplay situation is over, it is your responsibility to notify medics and allow
reviving.
16. No ‘kamikazing’. This is when air vehicles are purposely used as weapons by
crashing them into buildings/vehicles/people.
17. Troll/meme names (like having a name that when spoken sounds like a cuss
word or racist term i.e. "Yuri Nator" or "Wilma Dickfit") are not allowed.
The New Life Rule
The new life rule (commonly called NLR) is used to aid roleplay. NLR is in effect at all
times. You have no knowledge of your past life, in addition to this you may not return to the
situation until it is over. You should not use any information gained in a past life to benefit
yourself or others. If your death is a result of an accident, the NLR does not apply. If you were
randomly death matched and your case was won, the NLR does not apply.
1. Reviving players in order to rob them/use them in an active situation is not permitted.
This is seen as a loophole to the anti-inventory robbing script.
2. Combat reviving is not allowed. Unless the following are met.
a. The individual is disarmed (firearm on back/in bag)
b. The individual is taken to the HOSPITAL and then released from there.
c. An active Medic member does said revive (than follows the above)
i. If a Medic decides to engage and help a faction in said situation the
opposing faction (or civs) may fire upon said Medic.
ii. Medics may be initiated if they are actively reviving people in an active
scene.
iii. Medics should still and always value their life. Running through an open
firefight for example is considered NVL.
3. If a player is downed and then revived they do not remember what happened
prior to their death and any initiation that has happened is over. Failure to follow
this rule will fall under FailRP and will result in a punishment.
Initiation Rules
1. Initiation requires you to let the person know you are requiring them to do
something or they will get a consequence. Example: Hands up or you will be
shot.
1.1. To initiate you must have a visible weapon and use it in a threatening
manner.
1.2. While police lights and sirens are not considered initiation, after 2 minutes of
chasing/evading, full initiation will be granted.
1.3. Players wearing a suicide vest with a deadman’s switch can not be initiated
upon.
1.4. You must give someone at least 5 seconds to comply.
2. Killing medics is strictly prohibited unless they are reviving someone after being
told not to, or combat reviving.
3. You do not need to initiate in the following zones as they are KOS.
3.1. Camping the border of KOS zones is prohibited.
4. Initiating on a police officer does not include the entire police force, only that
officer directly and those that were called in for back up.
5. Players must use LR40 to initiate on an air vehicle. A minimum of 3 warnings
must be given clearly over LR with a clear landing area.
5.2. Even if the pilot of the aircraft is not on LR40 after 3 warnings it still counts
as initiation. This is the fault of the pilot.
6. Crossing the border illegally (flying over the border/ driving through a checkpoint
without stopping) makes the player KOS for the faction that controls the area that
you are crossing into. The border crossing must be seen by a member of that
faction to warrant the KOS.
Blufor/Opfor Rules
1. You, as a Faction member, must be in the main Discord server.
2. Both factions may not camp illegal areas. They may only raid an area once every 30
minutes.
2.1. Both factions do not need to announce a raid on illegal areas.
3. War is a server-wide event. It may only be announced by the Faction Manager, and both
faction leaders must agree to war.
4. Failure to follow the respected factions' SOP can result in blacklisting from the faction,
and possible server punishment depending on severity.
5. You must RP (Roleplay) as a police officer. Therefore, when arresting someone, pulling
them over or issuing a ticket you must give them a valid and just reason.
6. Blufor/Opfor May not revive players they have downed. If done, you must allow the
player to continue unhindered without punishment.
Blufor/Opfor must wait for Medics in order to process downed players, if no medics have
responded in 5 minutes or there are no medics online this rule no longer applies.
7. If civilians are loitering near a checkpoint for an extended period of time you may detain
them.
8. Both factions are strictly prohibited from giving players outside of their respective
factions any gear besides primary and secondary weapons (This pertains specifically to
robberies and kidnappings).
Medic Rules
1. You must be wearing a medic outfit. This is very important for your safety.
2. You may not commit crimes but you may give medical attention to criminals.
3. Medics may never sell or give away their vehicles or equipment.
4. Medics must remain neutral to all factions and gangs.
5. Medics must wait until a situation is fully over prior to reviving.
Civilian Rules
1. Unarmed civilians cannot be killed without roleplay, e.g- kidnap, rob, etc.
2. All gang members must be wearing the same clothing to be gang initiated. I.e the same
uniform & vest.
Martial Law Rules
1. Martial law is initiated by the highest-ranking BLUFOR or OPFOR member by marking it
on the map.
2. Martial law must be declared in a clearly defined area on the map.
3. Martial law permits BLUFOR/OPFOR to kill any armed person in that area. If they
have any gun in their hands, even if it is a pistol, they may be killed.
4. Civilians may be arrested even if they are unarmed for loitering in that area.
5. Martial law ceases to be in effect when the highest ranking officer, or admin states as
such.
6. Staff do not need to announce martial law.
7. BLUFOR/OPFOR may warn Civilians to stay away from them, failure to do so will allow
them to arrest the person.
8. You cannot put martial law in a Gang area or Terror hideout.
9. Martial Law Vehicles are only to be pulled out during Martial Law, War and During
special events given permission.
Terrorism Laws
1. To declare terror you must use a broadcast station. You must announce when, where,
and for what reason you are declaring terror.
2. Clothing purchasable from the terror hideout is considered an immediate AOS for police.
This does not give you initiation.
3. Once the broadcast has been made terror in that area lasts 10 minutes or until the
terrorists are dead.
4. All terrorists must be wearing the same clothing for initiation to count.
Wartime Rules
1. Both BLUFOR and OPFOR need a minimum of 8 people to begin a war.
2. Both Blufor and Opfor commands have to consent to the war.
3. During war both sides may cross the border up to the boundaries defined by staff.
4. A war can only be declared and ended by an admin. Players must respect this.
5. Only Admins may declare war, however individual factions can approach the admins
with a valid reason in order to start war.
6. Civilians may be hired to kill OPFOR or BLUFOR. This is only in WARTIME. The
civilians involved must be clearly identifiable as to prevent confusion and RDM.
7. War Vehicles are only to be taken out during times of War and during special events
when permitted.
Spawn/Safe Zone/Area Rules

them, is also FailRP.
5. Similarly running into a safe zone in order to avoid an active situation or seek sanctuary
is also considered FailRP.
6. Whilst they are not considered a safe zone. The camping of ATMs is prohibited.
