1. What are your personal do’s and don’t’s when using social media? Please
enumerate them below.

2. What influenced you in coming up with your own rules?
To illustrate correct online conduct and behavior, I've created my own guidelines
based on my own experiences using the internet, such as sending emails and posting
messages, as well as the Decalogue or Ten Commandments of Netiquette, and even
fair and ethical regulations on the usage of Social Media. It's also important to me to
safeguard my privacy and teach self-discipline by creating my own rules. It allows me to
establish guidelines that will assist individuals in making ethical computer-related
decisions. If we can assist people understand these set of rules, we will be able to help
them understand the ethical use of social media. Again, this is for the safety and
security of everybody’s privacy, confidentiality rather.
V. Let’s Study!
A. Aid your memory in remembering key information from the preceding texts by
summarizing them below. You may use mnemonics like acronyms/ acrostics,
slogans, graphic organizers, illustrations etc.
B. What do you think are the other general or specific issues on ICT integration that
educators and schools need to address?
Other general and/or special difficulties regarding ICT integration, based
on my understanding of the entire subject, include restricted internet
access and a lack of resources, particularly a network connection.
Furthermore, it is critical that instructors receive further training on how to
use ICT in the classroom, lest they be found deficient in computer
knowledge and abilities for instructional purposes, as well as a lack of
enthusiasm to teach computer-related topics. Computer packages and
other technological tools will also be distributed to schools. It is hoped
that ICT applications would be seamlessly integrated into all learning
areas of the curriculum. Hence, the schools will also include an elective
course.
C. Assume that you are about to give an orientation to your class on your classroom
policies. What items regarding ICT use will you include? Enumerate them below.
(Minimum of five)
MY CLASSROOM POLICIES ON ICT USE
1. HONOR CODE. This is just to underscore that plagiarism in written
work and exam cheating shall not be tolerated. Moreover, we must
not only know it theoretically, but also practice it.
2. RESPECT. As usual, COURTESY must be observed whether it's
online or physical. To maintain a peaceful learning atmosphere,
let's be kind and respectful to one another.
3. ATTITUDE MATTERS. Indeed, always choose to be kind than to
be right.
4. THINK BEFORE YOU SPEAK. As a first step to avoiding
misunderstanding, ask yourself if what you're saying is useful and
inspirational.
5. ALWAYS BE FORGIVING. Try to be sympathetic of people when
they have struggled with.
VIII. Let’s Reflect.
Please answer each question in 5-10 sentences only.
A. Currently, what laws or policies do you think are most applicable to our situation now?
Corona Virus has been plaguing the Philippines for over a year (COVID-
19). It didn't matter where in the nation Juan de la Cruz and his family
lived, they were all at risk from illness. Education has also been affected
by the pandemic. Instead of the conventional face-to-face schooling that
we had all been used to, there has been a move to distant learning
(through online or modular education) or what is dubbed the "new normal"
of learning. Using ICT integration, which is being used intermittently, falls
under this heading. A negative side to this integration is that it puts
people's privacy and confidentiality at danger, thus cybercrime is our
worst enemy, even data breach. Not to be forgotten, the Cybercrime
Prevention Act of 2012, or Republic Act No. 10175, strengthens the
defenses against core cybercrime and other computer-related offenses.
Similarly, it protects against any dishonesty linked to ICT usage, including
libel, as well as any other violations. To that end, the Data Privacy Law of
2012, also known as Republic Act No. 10173, protects information and
data against unlawful hacking and/or cyber-related activities, whether
public or private.
B. What issues on ICT integration are you experiencing?
By boosting learner interest and engagement, enabling fundamental skill
acquisition and improving teacher training, ICTs can improve the quality
of education in numerous ways. This change to a learner-centered
environment is made possible by ICTs, when implemented correctly.
However, instances involving ICT integration may have encountered
similar issues, depending on the computer's capabilities. In view of this,
and in my case every now and then, I am experiencing such issues on
ICT integration, particularly the use of any applications which are as
follows. I'm presently dealing with a gadget issue whenever a technical
issue arises. And of course, limited time, in other words, I've fought with
the instrument's preparation, which is time demanding. Also, I've had
difficulties with my computer due to sluggish performance and even
restricted internet, and its speed and bandwidth aren't always sufficient,
but I have been trying hard to troubleshoot in any of these. The programs
I've recently used may also be exposed to vulnerabilities or viruses, which
might destroy any file or folder they're installed in, as well. I've also had
trouble recovering deleted data.
