INTRODUCTION:
African youth Development Football Club is an integral part of Africa Youth Development and
Talent Discovery Foundation solely committed to youth development through Sporting activities
with emphasizes on football initiative.
Over the years, we have carefully observed the consistent deterioration in Sporting values in Nigeria
and by extension Africa owing to under-development of the potentials of our youth which has
consistently remained under-utilized, thereby providing the basis for the inability of our sports
authorities to effectively pursue a continuity programs that enables the replacement of our aging
sports men and women to achieve a steady progression in value orientation and overall sporting
score sheets in Nigeria.
We are of the view that the absence of continuity in youth related sporting initiative/programs and
policies could not allow a steady progression and growth of sports in all ramifications, permeating a
process of decay in value and corrupt practices resulting to the lack of active youth involvement and
subsequent decline of the private sector to contribute to sports development.
To this end, as part of our corporate policy thrust on sports/football, we have put in place relevant
measures to forestall the steady decline in sports values and development by taking into cognizance
the need for a national talent hunt project, that will avail the Nigerian youths the opportunity and
platform to fully harness their potentials, skills and talents for personal self-discovery and
actualization. Thereby, meaningfully contribute to national development and growth.
It is of great national consequence to integrate sports activities into national development plan,
because of its economic values and capacity to strengthen nation’s diplomatic relationship for better
integration and cooperation of diverse nation’s value system for global unity. Interestingly, we have
evolved more sustainable strategy to achieve the very essence of our involvement and apparent
commitment in tandem with global standard. By building and improving upon the fundamental
policies of government on youth sports development and related activities. To further the very
essence of environmental sustainability, global peace and youth empowerment to secure the future
and values of nation states. This is the power of Sports to the transforming of society, by creating a
new historical perspective to life within the limit of human co-existence,
OUR CORPORATE ESSENCE:
Africa Youth Development Football Club is committed to change the narrative of Sporting activities
in Nigeria and by extension Africa, with a view to assist our army of jobless youths by properly
harnessing their potentials through Sports, for the development of Africa.
In recent years, the deteriorating conditions of sports values and underdevelopment in most African
States has become very worrisome and leaves much to be desired, owing to the poor performances
of our Sports men and women at the global scene. The development has created the need to have a
well formidable Football Academy/Club in Nigeria and halt the ugly sporting trends in our current
effort to achieve Sports revolution, with a steady progression in football, within the limit of
international best practices
However, our involvement will bring about the significant need of uniting and enabling Africa to
achieve sustainable development and rapid growth in Sporting activities and create the opportunities
for Africans to expand the frontiers of their sports horizons and value orientation. Also reawaken
global consciousness on the need to partner with other relevant sports institutions and
Agencies/Ministries committed to sports development and explore the potentials of our teeming
youth population which are of immense values to the development of quality sporting activities.
Sporting activities has defied artificial boundaries of various cultures, religions and ethnic
colorations regardless of the place of activities and has remained a beacon of hope to strengthen the
bonds of nationhood and inter-personal relationships across the globe. Equally helped in healing the
wounds of wars and reduce youth related violent activities based on over-indulgence in
drugs/alcohol, as we meaningfully engage the army of our youth. population to dissuade them from
such unwholesome activities and bring relief and succor to our noble football profession in the midst
of abundant natural resources.
Sharing these values underscores the very basis of our corporate strength and hallmarks of
achievements. Thus, we have committed our hands to the pursuit of these objectives in order to
ensure that our well revered football culture is not only preserved but are sustained to provide global
relevance and national wellbeing.
The maiden edition of Africa Youth Development Club will commence with an opening ceremonial
match between celebrities as Ambassadors, African countries Ambassadors, Government Agencies,
NGOs, Governors, and Ministers, Ex and Current Footballers, Sports Consultants, Corporate Bodies
and other dignitaries to support this football initiative solely committed to Sports development in
Nigeria viz-a-viz Africa.
OBJECTIVES:
 Evolve a system of youth development through Sports.
 Promote Sporting activities in Nigeria through collaboration and partnership amongst Africa
to prevent violence in Sporting Activities
 Establish Sport Development Academy for African football players, managers and Coaches
in Nigeria
 Create a veritable platform for the effective integration and adoption of various tournaments
towards peace initiatives in the Continent
 Create a platform for African brand of football with committed youth players across Africa
and in Diaspora, thereby enacting global action on Africa Cultural heritage on Sports.
 Promote physical education policy of Government of the various African States
  Call for collaboration from credible partners across the globe to provide technical assistance
and support.

 Empower the youths through Sports to achieve sustainable future for Sports in Nigeria.
 Encourage synergy amongst African nations to achieve excellence in Sports
 Eliminate violence in Sports through consistent sensitization of Sports Supporters Club and
enthusiasts.

oriented, enabling the average Nigerian youth the opportunity to discover self and actualize
his ambition through sports and related activities.
 We are committed to catch them young through sports, provide discipline and inculcate in
them proper moral values for the good of the society.
 We recognize the values that come with youth age and affirm our resolve to work in
partnership with the youths and stakeholders in sports development in Nigeria and Africa
 We realize the positive impact of sports in nation building and will continue to pursue its
cardinal benefits of unity, indivisibility, full expression of nation's identity, values and
believes to attract investments faster, better and more strategically.

TARGET GROUP:
Africa Youth Development Football Club works with youths in Nigeria and youth of other nations,
with a focus to harness their huge natural potentials towards Sports development in Africa and
encourage self-reliance and financial autonomy. We place special emphasizes on young people and
provide them with opportunities through Sports to fully express themselves and meaningfully
contribute to national progression. Afford them through this means the benefits of employment
opportunity and self-worth.
African Youth Development Football Club strictly focuses on this vulnerable group because they
are hard-to-reach, easily exploited and rarely benefit from Government social welfare schemes thus,
many youths rely more on Sports institutions help offer.
STRATEGIC APPROACH:
Africa Youth Development Football Club places young people at the Centre of its development
initiative, where they participate actively in sporting programs well design to enhance their
physiological, mental and intellectual wellbeing. We do not reinvent the wheel, rather it combines
models from the world of international Sports development and indigenous innovative solutions to
address youth sports development in its social context.
FUNDING STRUCTURE:
We have carefully workout a System of funding that is proactive in nature and able to tackle the
menace of the incessant lack of funds for football management by most African Football Clubs. This
is done in partnership with our foreign partners and private organization who have shown adequate
interest in our system of football administration and strategic communication pattern which has
remained investors delight
COLLABORATION AND PARTNERSHIP:
Africa Youth Development Football Club works with other football Clubs, Supporters Clubs, Non-
Governmental Organizations, and Government Agencies, Sports enthusiasts, host Communities,
Private Sector and other stakeholders to achieve its objectives.
Currently, African Youth Development Football Club is in partnership with some foreign based
Football Clubs and Scouting Organizations, who have collectively resolved to share our ideals and
commitment to achieve a well robust Sporting programs, that are of immense values to the nation.
PROGRAM PRIORITIES:
Sports development initiative, Education, Employment, Capacity building, Cultural Reconciliation
and integration, Youths Empowerment, Sports Men and Women Retirement Foundation to cater for
the needs of individuals who have immensely contributed to sports development in Africa.
We believe this will give the youths engaged in sporting activities the required impetus for more
commitments and unsolicited support.
PUBLIC RELATIONS & MARKETING:
Africa Youth Development Football Club maintains Media friendly relationship that will help to
promote our Football Academy/Club activities, quality of players and encourage grassroots talent
hunt program to the world.
To allow wider market reach, we shall hookup to various, TV/Radio Stations, Prints and Social
Media Organizations to attract the anticipated sporting audience.

 Large advertising Campaign displayed on major cities in Nigeria
 Advertising campaigns and weekly press releases and magazine publications
 Frequently updated website and Social media platforms
 Well-equipped in house press unit and online media services, multiple TV coverage

AFRICA YOUTH DEVELOPMENT FOOTBALL SUPPORTERS CLUB/VOLUNTEERS

 We acknowledge the fact that one of the greatest asset of any successful football Club, aside from
its internal working mechanism is its external support from volunteering football enthusiasts. These
groups have greatly contributed to the steady development and growth of any Football Club on and
off the pitch in its footballing career, as it serves as a morale booster for both players/managers and
emboldened their resolve to achieve greater success.
One important element of a strong football club involved in any sporting activity is the spirit of
volunteerism/Supporters Club whose roles has remained indispensable in the sustainable
development of global sporting activities. We are fully committed to this ideal and will provide the
enabling environment, through various support packages, awards and free transport scheme.
Africa Youth Development Football Club believes that the basis for volunteerism does exist in
traditional African Culture if well harnessed will realistically address the needs of Football Clubs
across the globe.
We recognize that the youth will better serve their society if given the opportunity of proper
engagement through Sporting Activities. However, we consider our current efforts as a means of
contributing to national development and part of our Social Responsibility to the Nigerian nation.
We deeply appreciate the contributions of our current volunteers and Supporters Club, as we
earnestly seek more volunteers, in our quest for a very distinctive status in the global football family.
We look forward to benefiting from their invaluable inputs that transcends the frontiers of race, tribe,
religion, gender, political affiliations or academic qualifications.
DEVELOPMENT OF INFRASTRUCTURE/FACILITIES:
We have observed that the success story of most sports academy and football club is built around
the quality of their infrastructure/facilities and the capacity of their human resource. Thus, we have
put in place a long time plan of investing in infrastructure/facilities to enhance the development of
youth/sports in Nigeria, and ensure a steady progression of the game to more sustainable level.
We have very serious plans of acquiring modern facilities and the building of a modern stadium for
the training and hosting of Football matches to generate revenues adequate enough to sustain and
maintain these facilities as well as ensure its upgrade as the need arises.
ORGANIZATIONAL STRUCTURE:
We have evolved a fault proof organizational structure to ensure an effective operation, with a long
lasting impact on our corporate essence. Africa Youth Development Football Club have a five-
member board of trustees, assisted by an advisory board, one technical adviser, One Chief Coach
and Two Assistant Coach that constitute our technical team, with other support staff who have made
our involvement in this profession a reality, leading to our unblemished success record over the
years.
PROJECT EVALUATION AND MONITORING:
To achieve steady progression in our corporate endeavor, we deemed it very imperative to put in
place relevant parameter for assessment and painstaking evaluation process to determine our
performance in terms of technical depth, style of play, winning formula and public acceptability in
the round leather game in Nigeria and beyond.
 PROJECT CONTINUNITY PLAN.
To ensure our continuous existence, we have instituted a foundation with a proposed endowment
fund of five Billion Naira committed to players and technical team members' welfare. We are
convinced that this will strengthen our resolve to maintain leading roles and ensure an improved
status of football in Nigeria and by extension Africa
EXECUTIVE SUMMARY: Football sporting activity has become part of African social life;
culture and tradition, having huge investment potentials and capacity to redefine African value
system, with a positive generational impact. However, some of the greatest challenges to an enduring
good football culture in Africa are the issues of Poor management, lack of adequate funding and
policy defect on the part of Government that discourages full private sector participation.
Africa Youth Development Football Club is very much aware of these ills in our football system and
have resolved to carve a new beginning in Nigeria football history by way of reinventing our football
values, through adequate investment and partnership across the globe. We consider the football
industry as a veritable instrument for sustainable national development and will ensure that the
benefits of engaging in active football by every nation are also realized in Nigeria.
Our doors of active engagement in football will be readily open to all interested parties as we provide
the basis for our youths and investors to leverage on and assist in changing the narrative for good.
This is our focus and commitment to achieve quality football and other sports activities in the greater
national interest.
It is our unwavering resolve to maintain the high point of our football culture in all respects, as we
give our hands of friendship and commitment to all men/women of goodwill across the globe to use
football in building bridges and, as assurances of hope for humanity. Providing a leeway out of our
multiples of issues, calm strain nerves and smoothen rough edges of our boundaries of disaffections
and hostilities in the contest of our current social existence.
As we propose this new sports initiative across board in Nigeria, Africa and globally to propagate a
new social order and national transformation in sports values and development, will be in phases
commencing from the South-South region and gradually spreading to other Geo-Political zones in
Nigeria, with a formal launching of the project tagged "National Youth Football Talent Hunt. Details
of the project will be readily made available in our programs of events/project.
Project will focus on the Youths and the need to harness their potentials for national sustainability.
Gradually eliminating with the help of this project youth related social malady to better the lots of
our youths in Nigeria, by eliminating youth's restiveness and other youth related social vices for
acute under development.
We are of the view that the current project will provide a leeway out of the limbo, with a more
defined moment for regional cum national rebirth in our pursuit for more holistic approach to take-
off our children from the street, as we reinvent a more working formula that will encourage sports
education and development that is citizens driven. On this premise we stand, as we provide the
Nigerian nation an enabling platform that transcends the frontiers of ethnic, religion and cultural
barriers, as sports/football has successfully defied boundaries and uniting nations, for the betterment
of all humanity.
This propose initiative is a true and concise reflection of all that we represent and intend to achieve
with this event.
We look forward to a robust working relationship with corporate organizations and sport loving
institutions and agencies of government in this direction to improve the quality of sporting activities
in Nigeria, Africa and beyond.
