Using Group Policy to Install TITUS Classification Suite Client
Applications
The following instructions describe how to distribute the TITUS software using Microsoft Group Policy.
1. Launch the Group Policy Management Console by clicking on the Windows Start button / Control
Panel / Administrative Tools / Group Policy Management.
The Group Policy Management window appears.
2. Under Domains double-click the desired domain to expand the folder list (in this example,
tituscloud.local).
3. Right-click on Group Policy Objects and select New.
NOTE: Do not modify the Default Domain Policy.
4. In the New GPO dialog box that appears, enter a name for this Group Policy Object.

5. Click OK.
Once you have created a new Group Policy Object, link it to a container (for example, an
organizational unit, domain, or site).
6. Right click on the container you wish to link to and select Link an Existing GPO.
7. In the Select GPO dialog box that appears, select the Group Policy Object that you created in the
previous step.

8. Click OK.
You have created and linked the Group Policy Object. You are ready to import the MSI file.
9. Right-click on the linked Group Policy Object and select Edit….
The Group Policy Object Editor window appears.
10. Expand the Computer Configuration Directory, the Policies folder, and the Software Settings Folder.
11. Right-click Software Installation, and then select New > Package.
12. To install TITUS Classification manually (without using the TITUSClassificationSetup.exe file),
navigate to and open the RedistSuite folder. Install the files in the RedistSuite folder in the order
they appear in the list on the following page.
Note: The files installed will differ depending on whether you are installing to a 32-bit or a 64-bit
operating system, and whether your users are running 32-bit or 64-bit versions of Microsoft Office
and Microsoft Outlook.

13. Select the Assigned radio button as the deployment method.
14. Click the OK button.
The MSI is automatically deployed to the specified computers.
