One of the major results of exploration, especially which of Livingstone was the opening of the
interior of Africa to missionary work.

Livingstone is so especial in this regard because he was both a missionary and explorer. After his
death various successful missions were set up in Central Africa.

Shaka was born in 1787. His father was Senzangakona king of a small Zulu Kingdom and his
mother was Nandi.

When Shaka was young, he and his mother were chased out of his father’s house hold. So they
went to live with his mothers’ people of the Langeni clan.
