SIGNIFICANCE OF THE ARTICLE
CRITIQUE OF THE ARTICLE
RELEVANT PHILIPPINE SITUATION
Article I: National Territory
Article I strengthen the sovereignty of the state for legal claims of the properties bound in the
Philippine archipelago.
In addition, it does not only refer to the right of the state but as well as the right of the nation to
utilize these perquisites for economical mobility for the state’s progress and development.
Article I provide the following:
- Complete propositional claims.
- Entails fairness for legal rights of the state.
The Philippine vs China prerogative on the amendment of the West Philippine Sea.
I reckon that the dispute between the Philippines and China cannot be resolved if China will
continue to refute the decision of the legal proceedings in the arbitral tribunal that have been
done. However, I believe in multi-lateral peace talk, in this way, we can, perhaps, resolve the
tension between the two countries in claiming sovereignty.

CRITICAL ANALYSIS OF THE 1987 PHILIPPINE CONSTITUTION
In the wake of globalization where foreign businesses are ubiquitous in the Philippines such as
Chinese manufactured products, goods, and services. As a developing country, the
transnational boundary is corroding making the foreign businesses’ appearance in the Philippine
economic setting plausible. Hence, such as the law on ownership is highly needed to regulate
the movements.
It is not glorifying that amidst the whopping of foreign businesses the state becomes complacent
with this phenomenon. Though it is a smart gesture to delimit the capacity of return to 40 percent
to the foreign entrepreneurs, the thin line between the economic and political mobility is uprising
does construe the second wave of imperialism.

Article III: Bills of Rights
To sum up, Article III extends the full merit of democracy, mostly to the people inhabiting it.
Article III provides the following:
-Just law enforcement;
- means fair laws.
The proposition of the death penalty for some unlawful behaviors such as murder, homicide,
infanticide, parricide, robbery, fraudulence, etc.
With that, killing is an unlawful penalty, because it will be a predicament to the laws of the land
and a miscarriage of justice. To prove, it is vividly stated in Article III of the 1987 Philippine
Constitution that no man shall be deprived of life without due process of law; thus, it is justifiable
to diminish the death penalty.

CRITICAL ANALYSIS OF THE 1987 PHILIPPINE CONSTITUTION
This coming May, we are about to face one of the paramount events in the Philippine history, as

Article VI: The Legislative Department
Article VI elucidated the core exercise and execution of the power of the member of the house of
representatives which is to either pass or reject bills that become the legitimate law of the land
only if the president approves. Thus, presented the regulatory ecosystem of governance.
Article VI provides the following:
The refusal of the ABS-CBN’s renewal of the franchise. The case had been dismissed in the
congress, and in conclusion, ABS-CBN unsuccessfully revive its renewal proposition.
In this indirect situation, I am not talking about why they did not grant the renewal of the
franchise, but the process of how the epochs went. Vividly, the scope of the work of the
legislative branch (the house of representatives) is centralized to cases-to-case toil, as well as
the other branches that are yet to be discussed.

Article VII: Executive Department

imperative to state their scope, as someone who has control over the people, to equilibrate
fairness and justice within the state.
Article VII provides the following:
CRITICAL ANALYSIS OF THE 1987 PHILIPPINE CONSTITUTION
On the 23rd of September in 1972, the late dictator Ferdinand Marcos declared the Philippines
under martial law. The deployment of the military force as a totalitarian ruling ousted the
freedom of speech and press and paralyzed the human rights of its nation. It was in January
1981 that he released the state from ten years of darkness.
As a President, you are assumed to be the superior; thus, you are entitled to unleash orders. But
in the case where the abuse of power is above the laws, is a sign of egocentricity.
