Subject: Review of 10% discount scheme to Govt. employees available under DSL, WiMax and FTTH Broadband
services-reg.
1. Kind reference is invited to BSNL CO letter no. 1-1/2013-R&C (CFA) [Circular R&C-CFA No. 41/13-14] dated 30-09-
2013 conveying approval of the competent authority regarding reduction of discount from 20% to 10% under DSL,
WiMax Broadband services on rental and usage for the serving and retired central Government/State
Government/PSU Employees. The competent authority, also decided to extent 10% discount for such customers
under FTTH BB services.

2. Now, competent authority has been decided “to reduce the discount from existing 10% to 5% for the serving and
retired central Government/State Government/PSU Employees (existing and new customers) under DSL, WiMax
and FTTH Broadband services.”

3. The customers may be suitably informed in advance.

4. The circles shall ensure to comply with all regulatory mechanism.

5. The above instructions shall be effective w.e.f 01-10-2015 and the revised discount shall be applicable on the bills
issued from 01-11-2015 onwards in all the Circles/Metro Districts.

6. All other terms and conditions currently applicable to all applicants shall remain the same.

7. This circular is issued based on the approval of Competent Authority in Broadband cell file No. 64-
133/2014/Tariff/Pt.1. For any queries/clarification in this regard, matter may be taken up with Broadband Section,
BSNL Corporate Office, Janpath, New Delhi-110001 (Tel. No. 011-23322064 and Fax No. 011-23734052).
