Obsolescence Notice – Press Safety Valves XSz20

Valves Series XSz20

The Norgren and Herion press safety valves series XSz20 have been equipped with
a new pilot. Due to the fact that electrical characteristics will change, valves with the
old pilot will be made obsolete.

Advantages of the new XSz20:


• More compact design of the new pilot: mass saving
• Reduced power consumption: old pilot – 16 Watt, new pilot – 11 Watt
• Short exhaust times: quick exhaust between pilot and poppet

The updated XSz20 will be equipped with solenoids series 0200 instead of solenoids
series 0800. The type of the solenoid plugs will remain the same: DIN 43650, form A.
