Character Creation

Choose A Class
There are three options: Fighter, Thief, and Magic-User.

Roll Your Abilities


Roll 2d6+3 for each of the six attributes: Strength, Dexterity, Constitution, Intelligence,
Wisdom, and Charisma.

Thieves can reroll Dexterity, Intelligence, or Charisma.

Thief Abilities
When attacking from behind with surprise, you have +4 AV and cause two damage dice at
level 1, four damage dice at level 5, and six damage dice at level 9.

You can make a number of Free Attacks each combat round equal to your level divided by 4
rounded up.

You start play with one melee weapon of your choice, one ranged weapon of your choice,
and a set of Light armor.

Thief Skills
All characters start off with 3 ranks in each of the 8 thief skills. You, as a thief, receive 20 skill
points at level 1 and an additional 12 each level after. You can use these skill points to raise
the rank of a thief skill.

To make a thief skill check roll 1d20 equal to or under your rank in the skill but over your
own AC.

The thief skills are as follows:

 Opening locks and foiling of magical closures

 Disarming small trapped devices such as spring-loaded poisoned needles

 Climbing almost sheer surfaces up or down at half normal movement rate

 Identifying noises behind closed doors

 Stealing or concealing items by sleight-of-hand

 Moving stealthily to pass or surprise enemies

 Hiding in nothing more than shadows

 Finding hidden or secret doors and passages
