Dear friends and colleagues,
We are now pleased to announce that AOMC 2022 will be virtual and will take place on 9th-12th
June, 2022 at Jakarta, Indonesia . The 20th Asian-Oceanian Myology Center Meeting will be held
in conjunction with The National Scientific Meeting of Indonesian Neurological Association (PIN
Perdossi 2022). We are delighted to invite you to attend the 20th Asian-Oceanian Myology
Center Meeting, an annual conference of Asian Oceanian Myology Center (AOMC).
We will try to provide a best virtual platform for participants. The scientific program of AOMC 2022
will cover the most important fields of neuromuscular disease including clinical characteristics,
pathophysiology, and innovative diagnostic technology and treatment of various neuromuscular
diseases. Clinico-pathological conference, which is the most traditional and symbolic program of
AOMC will be played on a platform that is fully interactive between chairs, speakers, and
participants. Also, we will promote basic and clinical scientific research in the area of
neuromuscular disease in Asia and Oceania and provide you with the opportunity for a
multidisciplinary exchange between the various professionals involved in neuromuscular
diseases.

Dear colleagues,
The Perdossi 2022 Virtual National Scientific Meeting (PIN) in Banjarmasin is part of
official Perdossi scientific agenda. This years it will be held in conjunction with an international
event The 20th Asian and Oceanian Myology Center (AOMC) meeting, so it is expected to
provide more scientific value to the participants. This event will be organized in conjunction by
Perdossi Banjarmasin Chapter and AOMC in the management of PP PERDOSSI 2019-2024,
PIN will be held three times in during 2019-2024 for maintaining and increasing the knowledge
and competence of medical doctors, especially neurologists. There will be ten study groups
involved in this event: Pain, Headache, Neurophysiology, Movement Disorders, Epilepsy,
Neuropediatrics, Neurotrauma, Neuroepidemiology, Neurotology, Sleep disorders and special
topics of Myology from AOMC to provide a broad opportunity for all colleagues more scientifIc
value.
On behalf of the President of PERDOSSI, we invite all neurologist colleagues to attend the PIN
PERDOSSI-AOMC Banjarmasin 2022.
We expect our colleagues to discuss and share experiences to aim the vision of
this event: Bridging Neurological Basic Science and Technique to Advanced
Technology Services in The New Habit Era.

PIN Perdossi Banjarmasin 2022 will be held in conjunction with the international
event The 20th Asian and Oceanian Myology Center (AOMC) meeting, so it is
expected to provide more scientific value to the participants.
Developments in the field of neurology have grown rapidly and are making many
advances in both the diagnostic and therapeutic fields. Diagnostics have become
easier and distinct, as well as advances in the field of therapy. The paradigm has
been shifting from palliative to curative or achieving a better quality of life for patients
than before. The Covid-19 pandemic on the other hand forces us to develop and
become more familiar with digital technology. However, this progress must still be
based on basic sciences and clinical skills. This consideration is in line with The
theme at the PIN Perdossi -AOMC Banjarmasin 2022 event: Bridging Neurological
Basic Science and Technique to Advanced Technology Services in The New
Habit Era.
The Scientific meeting at this time will involve 10 neurologic fields plus: Pain,
Headache, Neurophysiology, Movement Disorder, Epilepsy, Neuropediatrics,
Neurotrauma, Neuroepidemiology, Neurotology, Sleep Orders and Myology.
Various scientific activities will be held in the form of symposiums, teaching courses,
workshops, scientific posters, presentations of research results from neurology
colleagues and neurology residents throughout Indonesia as well as our colleagues
from abroad so that they are expected to enrich the participants' knowledge.
We express our gratitude and deepest appreciation to the Chairman of the PP
PERDOSSI, Steering Committee, Study group of PERDOSSI, Organizing
