Responsibilities during Shutdown & Turnaround

o Handling of All Quality aspects with Client & Contractor Representatives.
o Preparation & review of Quality Control Procedures & ITPs based on Code & Client requirements.
o Coordination with affiliate discipline representative and contractor personnel to make the job easy for
execution.
o Conduct meeting with contractor’s construction personnel to find out the reasons for the delays and resolve
issues.
o Coordination with NDT third party inspectors / contractor / vendor representative.
o Attend walk through with other discipline engineers and contractor’s and assist in preparing punch list and
categorized the punch list items into “A”, “B” or “C”.

o Monitor and review of Inspection reports & Welder Qualification reports.

QA/QC Inspector

o Monitor routine QA/QC documentation, data entry of welding reports, NDT reports and co-ordination with
NDT sub-contractors & Updating NCR and deficiency reports status.
o Monitor during execution and ensure all the activities are performed as per schedule and expedite the
 process in case of delay.
o Evaluation of test package contents, line checking against drawing requirements to ensure completeness and
accuracy of the system.
o Ensure Proper fit-ups prior to welding and ensure that fit-up is within tolerance and ensure welds are free
from contamination after welding.
o Ensure the proper implementation of welding procedure specification (WPS).
o Coordination with contractor and receive the Request for inspection from contractor as per ITP when the
systems are ready for inspection.
o Witnessing and monitoring the required NDE as per the specification, co-ordination with the third-party
inspectors and client inspectors.
o Monitoring the QA/QC Documentation of the subcontractors and ensure that all the activities are
incorporate to their system on daily basis and can be traced according to our requirements.
o Leading the inspection team as replacement to field supervisor.
o Review and witness of inline inspection reports.
o Review and approval of construction/quality procedures.
Inspection for ongoing Piping as per Plan & ISO.
