Preface
Thanks for selecting New Power ATPJET High-Speed Intelligent Inkjet Plotter!
New Power ATPJET High-Speed Intelligent Inkjet Plotter series are based on a paper

feeding system driven by roller friction. It can be used to draw and cut complex graphics

and texts, the material including computer paper, barley paper and so forth (thickness

ranging from 30g-60g). New Power ATPJET High-Speed Intelligent Inkjet Plotter series

are beautiful and elegant in design and also achieve high precision, high speed, stable

performance and compatibility (compatible with HPGL). It can work with nearly all of the

CAD systems in the world.

Before you use the plotter, please read the user manual carefully and insure that you

can operate all functions efficiently.

If you have any questions, please contact with local dealer or local office for support.

Chapter One Safety Regulations

Safety Regulations:

Please read the following guidance carefully before using the ATPJET High-Speed

Intelligent Inkjet Plotter:

 Put the plotter on the level ground to avoid needless troubles; when the ground is slant,

the plotter cannot work.

 Assembly the plotter and adjust stand feet height, until the whole machine reaches the

level state.

 Do not put the plotter on shaking or unstable ground;

 Please connect the plotter with power supply according to rated voltage and don't

connect the plotter to the socket without stable voltage, as the unstable power supply

will lead to reduce plotter performance and even burn down power supply board; please

install the regulator when the power is unstable;

 The power supply plug should be connected with ground line. Don't remove the pin on

top of the plug to ensure good ground connection with plotter. If the machine isn't

connected to the ground, it will result in electric discharge by too much electric charge

accumulation. which may be harmful to people and also destroy plotter;

 Avoid connecting the plotter to the same power outlet with high-power equipments. If it

is connected to the same electric plug with other equipments in parallel, please confirm

that required power of these equipments does not exceed the maximum electric current

of power plug cable;

Don't use dilapidated or worn power cables;

 please pull plug out of the power outlet, if not using the plotter for long time;

 Pull out the power plug before cleaning the plotter;

 Don't drop liquids into plotter, otherwise the plotter would be short-circuited and the

component would be destroyed.

 Don’t fix or dismantle the plotter unless the user manual has an elucidation;

 Don’t jam or put goods in the working area of the plotter.

 Don’t plunge your hand into the plotter to handle the small ink vehicle and inner spare-

parts of machine;

Chapter Two Application Notice

Whether you are familiar with the New Power ATPJT High-Speed Intelligent Inkjet

Plotter series or not, please read the following items carefully before operate the machine:

1 Environmental Condition:

(1). Working temperature for the plotter is 0-35 degree; don’t put or use the machine in

places with strong light irradiation, radiation and heat energy.

(2). Working humidity scope of plotter under the normal temperature is 20%-80%;

don’t put plotter under the moist and dusty places. Once vapor coagulates inside of

the plotter, the dust enters into the plotter, which will result in short-circuit or poor

contact so as to affect plotter performance.

(3). Avoid the strong electromagnetism interference and don’t put magnetic things by

the side of the plotter.

2 Other Notice

1. Don't move the cartridge holder by hand; otherwise it will damage plotter.

2. Do not twist the retaining nut in the cartridge holder, except handing ink cartridge.

3. Don't try to lubricate plotter; otherwise it will cause machine malfunction.

4. Please ensure the switch is off before you access or cut off power supply.

5. Please place the dust proof cover over the plotter to prevent the dust entering into the

plotter after use.

6. Avoid turning on and off the plotter frequently in order to prevent performance of

electronic components.

7. In the process of plotting, don’t rely your body on machine or put hand on the rail.

8. If signal transmission line needs to be connected or adjusted, please confirm that the

computer and plotter have been power off.

Chapter Four Installation

1. Check the goods before installation (Tick at the back of item)

Here the goods inside package include:

2. Installation of stand and mainframe

(1) Firstly, install the stand beam and two side stands

(2) Fix the stand in position, then put mainframe on stand smoothly and tighten the screws.

(3) Use a leveler to test if the mainframe is in level; if any deviation, adjust feet cup under

the stand until it is in level state.

3. Connecting the power and computer

(1) Make sure the machine’s power off, switch [○]

should be pressed; make sure that the power

voltage is 110/220V and connect power line.

(2) According to the computer's settings,

connect USB cable to USB port of machine

and computer and fix it to the stand. As well,

make sure that the machine and computer

should be powered off.

4. Paper Loading: (The installation direction as shown

in following picture)

(1) Put paper rolling drum into the paper bar.

Firstly, put the reel paper into the paper supporting

shaft (in the direction shown in picture) and move

it to appropriate position; push fixture on both

sides of paper core tightly, then fasten screws.

5. Adjust the position of paper pressing wheel:

6. Installation of Ink Cartridge

(1) Open the package of ink cartridge (as shown in picture)

(2) Open the package of ink cartridge, hold the ink cartridge and shake it several times

to prevent ink deposit. Then put the ink cartridge into the cartridge clip (as shown in

picture) with attention to put the cartridge into the 45-degree oblique direction, from the

top to the inner. Do not put it in right position just once and the action should be gentle to

avoid damaging the internal electronics components. Finally, buckle ink cartridge cap.

Chapter Five Basic Operation

1. Digital panel function

Pause key: pause the current scanning and printing; in a suspended state and

then click (pause key), it continues to print.

Chapter Six Output Center

1Install output center

1. There is a CD-ROM in the box, Copy the zip file from

CD-ROM to the position (a certain disk) where you think appropriate in my

computer, and then unzip the file; open the folder , you will see an

icon

Double click this icon to perform following installation steps: (as shown in picture)

This step is to selecting the number of cartridges: It is based on your machine model
and cartridge number.

Then click Next icon: (Installed automatically……)

Click Finish icon to complete setup.

3. Turn on the plotter power switch.

4. It initializes connection between computer and plotter... (as shown)

Notice that there is a tip on the bottom right of display indicating the discovery of new

hardware and then following dialogs.

Keep default option, click NEXT (as below)

Finally, click 完成(Finish) icon to complete the installation of new hardware

wizard.

Double click this icon on the desktop, under normal circumstances; you will see
the following screen:

Basic debugging should be performed before drawing. First click .

Item 1 System Parameter Setting

Scanning speed and feeding speed: divided into3kinds

Low Medium High ，The new machine is recommended

Medium.

Print pixel is divided into 1 to 8 pixels, the higher pixels

bring relatively higher print resolution.

Cleaning before inkjet: it prevents nozzle clogging,

exempting cleaning nozzle time.

Nozzle1 default value is 0

Nozzle 2 debugging value changes among 159-,
160- and 161. When followings appear, revise the
value of cartridge 2 to correct it, as shown in picture:

Before revision, the left-right deviation appears between cartridge and

cartridge 2 (as shown in picture)

Wind Drag is used to adjust cartridge holder right-left

scanning; shifting can be corrected by modifying the wind
drag. Its value usually ranges among 4, 5 and 6.

Before revision, the left-right deviation appears when scanning, which has
specifications (as shown below)

Y Step used to modify the feed length. The modified value

ranges between 297 and 300. (Shown as below)

Print Step default value is 300.

Tips: Correct through above steps, but the followings still appear. We can solve
these troubles through check;

Case 1 Scanning straight line going off course by physical factors

(Solution) Loosen the screw fore-and-aft ink cartridge, adjust the position of
ink cartridge group to achieve the correct position (shown as below)

Item 2 Drawing Parameter Setting

Set the maximum feeding width, referring to model and

specifications of the machinery to be purchased.

Set the machine width, referring to model of the machine to

be purchased.

Machine origin is ink vehicle’s starting inkjet position.

The actual value of X and Y is 1000, which is system

default value.

Measured value is used to adjust garment CAD software.

The output proportion can be compensated.

There are two adjusting methods.

1. Use the garment CAD software to revise the size. The plotter keeps the default values.

2. Use the plotter to revise the size. The garment CAD software keeps the default value.

Finally, input the result of measured value to measured value dialog:

(shown as below)

Attention: 1) When you are in the process of parameter setting, please be sure to use

standard or the same scale that you recognize (as some scale also has a very big error);

2) If you still cannot reach your required precision in 1000mm scale range,

please expand the scale. For example, you can draw a 10000mm (10 meters) marker and

carry on actual measurements to calibrate the accuracy and correct its precision.

X, Y value must be filled according to 1000mm and actual measured value. Although this

will waste some time, but it must reach your required precision!

Item 3 Other Parameters Setting

Printing directory
contains *PLT files created by garment CAD software.

Next, take Richpeace CAD software for example. Click

this icon to browse.

Final path is: C：/Richpeace garment CAD/PLOT

Click 确定 as shown in picture

File extension can be compatible

with a variety of CAD output file formats, and special format can be set.

After finishing print, file

processing method can be
selected according to customer
needs.

Select this function when the plotter is on

standby the system will perform automatic printing , after receiving files; or

will adopt manual printing mode .

Chapter Seven Introduction of Interface

Toolbar Details:

It can import single or multiple files. (as below)

Select the location where the file exists, click the icon 打 开 (open), the system will

prompt that new file is imported.

Open control center, left click this button, click the button and the button will
be sunken, the control center will turn to automatic drawing status!

Then click the button again to cancel the automatic drawing status! After
this clik you can use the following one button or more buttons to manually line up

the plot file or single drawing: (Attention:Please click this button once more time to

line up the files again)

Click this button to begin plotting.

Print pause 暂停, print stop 停止and print cancel 取消 can be used by

computer to perform remote operation on the plotter, avoiding moving

back and forth.

This button is used to zoom in the image of selected files. Click it once to zoom
in images one time bigger in images list box, but the output effect won't be affected.

ZOOM OUT Please refer to the description of

The four buttons above can decide sequence of drawing task.

This is the specific information about

current file that you want to print

Print mode offers four ways, selecting the most appropriate way

in accordance with actual need in order to save time.

This is time information displayed

the file to print at present.

It can set the number of plotting files and display the number of

information about already printed files.

It can splice two or more files to achieve continuous output effect.

During the printing, you can know current print position through the
dynamic view.

Through above information, it can master the dynamic between the plotter and
computer in real time, as well as end time of file printing.

Chapter Seven Common Troubles and Solutions

When you face any problems during the use of plotter, please read below item

carefully in order to find the solution. If you cannot find solution, please contact with us,

please do not repair or dismantle the plotter by yourself!

1 Turn on the machine but no response

The indicator light isn't on, which means the plotter isn't powered. Please check if

power cable is connected with AC socket of plotter, if the power touch is good, if it has

circuit-breaking situation, if it has power output.

2 After turn on the machine cartridge holder running rightwards and cannot stop

Please check if the ink vehicle aligns with magnetic sensor, adjust the sensor,

fasten screws and reposition the sensor.

3 Do not spray ink

Please check if the cartridge has run out, if the nozzle is blocked by dusty. We

recommend using original cartridge.

4 Do not feed and take up paper

Make sure the power is in protection state (over current protection),

Make sure the motor connection is in good condition

Make sure the fore and aft sensors are normal

Make sure the power supply is normal.

7.10.1 The Poor quality of Drawing

1) Check if the plotter is placed on level ground (use horizontal regulator to adjust

the height of four feet to ensure the machine is in a horizontal position)

2) Make sure the roll paper fixture is tightened

3) Make sure two stands are paralleled.

4) Make sure the two paper pressing rods/dancer bars are in normal/correct shape.

5) Make sure feed and take up roller is working smoothly;

6) Check if the paper is aligned.

7.11．1 Problem for the Language of the Control Center:

We found due to some users use different version of the operation system(especially with

different language) our control center will install by default language( Chinese)

First you copy the control center from the Disk (check your computer operation system is

32bit/64bit

Then you unzip the install file /copy the file to your computer

You will find the files like this:

Please rename the Chinese/wrong operation words to be English then it can set the

parameter in your control center.

For example: Rename to then you can

work normally. ( Only show English in your English or your local language Windows

system then you can work properly)

You can operate like follows to change the language in English:

1. Click the control center button

2. Then you will see the Chinese control center

3. Click

Click English. If your computer has no Chinese data and maybe the words can’t show

correctly please remember the button and operate as above you also can find the

English.

8. Rename the file delete all the Chinese or some words can’t appear correctly change to

English. Then your control center will work properly.
