Assignment 1:

1) What are the TOP two (2) MOST important computer parts you would
need to consider for the team computers and why? (RAM, CPU, Graphics
Card, Hard Drive, etc.)

- The most important computer parts to be considered for the team


computers are RAM and the CPU. The team is responsible for graphic
design, animation and promotional material. Therefore, a lot of RAM is
indispensable for a good quality of the graphic designs and enough
storage space. On the other hand, the CPU is known to be considered as
the brain and the main part of the computer. The CPU is containing all
the circuitry needed to process input, store data, and output results. It
will hence be of great importance to this graphic project.

2) For these computer parts that you identified in the previous question,
what general specifications would you recommend and why?

- The general specification that I would use for the team’s CPU is INTEL
Core i5 or i7 that are quad-core with 3.0GHz frequency.
- For the RAM the specifications will be a memory of 2 GB to keep a low
price and a good quality

information so there is great

hard but there are some
opportunities that are worth it.

CPUs are quad-

system will perform faster. The
video card should
have its own independent
source of video memory,
leaving the memory or RAM

2GB is a great choice
and the price for it is not high
