Dear Ben:

We are pleased to inform you that you have been awarded the Undergraduate Open Scholarship from
Simon Fraser University for the 2022 Spring term.

Undergraduate Open Scholarship $1200

The value of the scholarship is based on available funding, and is equal to the number of standard graded
units in which you are currently enrolled in, multiplied by $100.00.

The funds will be applied against any outstanding balance in your account and the remainder will be
available to you. Your account balance can be confirmed at https://go.sfu.ca.

If there are any further changes to your course load or your grades after this point, the amount of
your scholarship will be adjusted accordingly.

All students must set up Direct Deposit in order to receive funds deposited electronically to their bank
accounts.

For instructions on how to set up Direct Deposit please see Direct Deposit FAQs. It is important that Direct
Deposit is set up by Tuesday, Feb 15, 2022 4:30PM PST to receive your refund on Friday, Feb 18,
2022.
