TO: Aldea ES Teachers

EARLY REGISTRATION FOR THE S.Y. 2022-2023

1. In accordance to DepEd memorandum no. 017 s. 2022 titled “CONDUCT OF THE


EARLY REGISTRATION FOR SCHOOL YEAR 2022-2023”. In the preparation
for the incoming class opening, The Department of Educationn announces that the early
registration for School Year 2022-2023 shall be conducted from March 25 to April 30,
2022.

2. As stipulated in DepEd Order No. 03 s. 2018 otherwise known as the “Basic Education
Enrolment Policy, stated that early registration seeks to locate, identify and register out
– school children and youth in the community to ensure maximum inclusive
participation of learners and completion of the basic education cycle.

3. The early registration which covers incoming Kinder, Grade 1, Grade 7, and Grade 11
learners in public schools. It should be noted that incoming Grades 2 — 6, Grades 8 —
10 and Grade 12 learners are considered pre- registered, thus there is no need for these
students to participate in the early registration except for transferees — in and those
who are no longer in school but interested in going back to school shall be enrolling in
the basic education level.

4. In the context of the prevailing COVID-19 public healthy emergency, the conduct of
early registration shall be done remotely in the areas under Alert Level 3 to 5. In-person
registration through parents or guardians be allowed in areas under Alert Levels 1-2
provided physical distancing and health and safety protocols are strictly observed.

5. In this regard, this office announces the Conduct of Early Registration for the School
Year 2021-2022 with the Theme “Makapag-aral Karapatan Mo, Mag-palista!” at
Aldea Elementary School, Southville 10, Brgy. Plaza Aldea, Tanay, Rizal.

4. The objectives of the early registration are:


a. To ensure that all five — year old children are enrolled in kindergarten.

b. To locate, identify and enroll out of school children and youth who
characterized as:
I. Living with disability/ies.
II. Living in off-grid/far-flung community.
III. Living in a barangay without a school.
IV. Living in a geographically isolated area
V. Displaced due to natural disaster
VI. Living in an armed conflict area
VII. Living in an area with high level of criminality/ drug abuse
VIII. Having chronic illness
IX. Having nutritional problem/s
X. Victim of child abuse, economic exploitation
XI. Stateless/Undocumented
XII. In conflict with the law
XIII. Living on the streets

c. To understand the barriers to access to education, identify local


interventions, and ensure that they do not drop out.

5. This office strictly implementing the Kindergarten cut-off age under DO 020, s. 2018.

6. The attached list of School Early Registration Action Team with the schedule shall
ensure that the early registration period activities shall reach a wide coverage of
implementation to guarantee that the most number of registrants will come out to
register.
