Unlock the Speaker Release Levers by puling them in the direction shown below, and slide up each Speaker, RELEASE RELEASE) eS ‘ a 2. This will reduce the noise and provide clear reception; however, the broadcast will not be hoard in stereo. 1 Graphic Equalizer It allows you to tailor the trequency response of the unit to compensate for room acoustics and other factors which affect requency response. The overall tone can be altered by adjusting the four controls which control the following frequency bands: 100 Hz, 990 Hz, 1 kHz, 3.9 kHz, 10 KHZ. Positioning the contra to the "+" side of the detent wil amply the corresponding frequency band; the “-" side wil attenuate it @ Fine Tuning Control For SW broadcasts, tune to the approximate frequency with the Tuning Control, and then use the Fine Tuning Control for more precise tuning.
