INTRODUCTION
In accordance with RA 7160, Section 17, the provision of Basic Social Welfare Services is all-important in
enriching the living condition and improving the quality of life of the poorest sector of the population to
empower them to become self-reliant and contribute to national development, thus the state is dedicated to
Care, Protect and Rehabilitate that sector of the country’s population that has the smallest in life in terms of
physical, mental and social well-being as well as social welfare assistance and social work intervention, to bring
back their normal functioning and participation in community development.
Motivated by the said law which serve as the agency’s functional statement, the Municipal Social
Welfare and Development Office unceasingly performed its mandate to raise the welfare of our disadvantaged
sector through our different programs, projects and activities based clientele classification, to wit:
I. FAMILY AND COMMUNITY WELFARE PROGRAM – ALMA JOY A. ZAMORA,RSW

IX. OTHER SERVICES
- Conducted psychosocial activities to 5 PWUDS who are under the Plea Bargain Program and 4 outpatient
at DOH Treatment and Rehabilitation Center (TRC)
- Prepared and submitted Assessment Report at the DOH Treatment and Rehabilitation Center of 4 PWUDS
for discharged.
- Conducted counselling service to 10 Children at Risks.
- Conducted assessment to 2 Children in Conflict with the Law and submitted Certification of Discernment
at the Regional Trial Court
- Conducted home visits to referred disadvantaged families for needs assessment
- Conducted family case work to dysfunctional families

custody at DSWD Field Office 02
OVERALL ASSESSMENT/CONCLUSION
The implementation of the agency’s mandate continues to be strong in general. Most of the target set
were fully met, others even more than the target set. There have been many challenges however the agency
was able to overcome it by communicating with team members, utilizing information technology solutions,
creative use of staff and flexible schedules and obtaining additional resources.
The MSWD Office is also proud to have resourceful and innovative staff, not to mention the vigorous
Municipal Social Welfare and Development Officer, who is terms of dedication to service and in search of
innovation and excellence. The staff are also resilient as they are able to adjust to inevitable events and load of
deliverables at hand moreover they are equipped with the necessary capacity building interventions.
Another contributing factor to the success of the agency’s mandate is the structure in place and the
working relationship remained to be strong in service of the clients. The vision, mission and goals and objectives
of the organization continues to be the center of its operation.
The MSWD Office warrants that all efforts are connected on the vision that every Bambangueῇo have
equal access to opportunities and to the mission of empowering individuals and families through developmental
programs, projects and services that will help them improved their quality of life.
