General Instruction and Guidelines for organizing IIC Activity and Report Submission
• IIC Activities in 4 quarters- a) Q1- Sept to November, b) Q2- December to February, c) Q3- March to May, d) Q4-June to August

• Both Q1 & Q2 of 1st Semester is merged so you can conduct activities till 28th Feb 2023, 2nd Semester with Q3 & Q4 will starts
from 1st Feb and ends on 31st July 2023.

• Activities directly related to promotion, engagement and in support of Innovation, Entrepreneurship and IPR will only be
considered.

• Regular and timely submitted activities reports will be considered for verification.

• For each activity report, its mandatory to upload two photos (one should cover the participants from front and second should
cover students and stage/screen for Offline event, in case its conducted online, then screenshot of expert speaker with
participants and clearly visible participants).

• The total number participants for online activities should be minimum 20.

• Participants Registration details collected from google form for a particular activity should be submitted along with
overall activity report in pdf format as proof of conduct of event.

• For offline activities, a one to two-minute video of the program/activity should be uploaded on the YouTube/Facebook/ Twitter
channel of Institute or IIC and working link should be provide. The video should cover all the students, speakers and stage. For
online events, screen recording may be used or the even link .

• MIC may reject the submitted report if video or photos are not in accordance with above guidelines.
General Instruction and Guidelines - IIC Report Verification & Approval
Activity Report Verification & Approval Process
• Segregation & Screening of Submitted Reports based on the Information & Attachment:
• Approved : complying the Guideline in previous slide
• Reopen: insufficient data but Program Seems Relevant & legit
• Disapproved: Irrelevant, Lack of Information, Irregularity in information, Manipulation etc.
Reasons for disapproval:

• No proof of participation either in photograph/screenshot or in video link; Very few participant or single participant in
photo/screenshot; No banner/session plan/speaker details/objective &expected outcome given in overall report.

• Any activity/training which is either academic/technical/R&D, textbook topic but not directly related to innovation, IPR, design
thinking entrepreneurship, and start-up.

• Activities related to the promotion/marketing of institute, personality development, job oriented courses, computer science basic
& advance courses /workshop etc. like A.I, Cloud computing, Hadoop, data science etc.

• Regular meetings are submitted under self-driven activity reports or duplication of IIC calendar activities and MIC activities which
are claimed as self driven.

• Duplicate activities or One activity submitted multiple times; Exactly Same report/photographs used in multiple activities.

• Not resubmitted/availed the review option for reopened and disapproved activities, despite the chance given by MIC.

1. There are 10 steps under Policy formulation on our portal for creating their institute's Innovation and Entrepreneurship policy (I&E Policy)
2. The major steps are forming a committee to formulate their policy (Step number 4) and submitting the approved I&E policy (Step number
6)
2.Policy Implementation
1. There are 9 steps under Policy implementation on our portal for implementing their I&E Policy.
2. The major steps are identifying the KPI and benchmarking their I&E ecosystem (Step number 3) and creating an action plan of activities
to support the target they have created (Step number 4)
