staff room, loading bay, garbage room has placed in B1floor.

The garbage disposal and load transfer to the retail has been transport at
particular time alone.
Except the food court and restaurants, no other spaces has service corridor.

PLANNING
• The shops and other retail spaces has been connected by the atrium
• The space does has totally 6 entries (2 main entries from road +4 entries
from parking floors)
• The main entry has focused to the semi-open oat space, where events has
been held and visitors would spend time to read books, works, eat etc…
• B1+B2 has been designed with service and parking
• LG+UG has been design with office space, retail shops, garbage dispoal
area, STP, sumps, Bio-gas plant, generators etc…
• From 1st-5th floor has retail shops, gallery, theatre and fun zone
• All the space has connected by the central atrium elevator
• The architect has implied to bring natural light by central atrium, where
the space has used as like open retail shop, articraft shops , event
management etc…
WATER SUPPLY
• The main water source is Borewell , in summer time Kaveri water.
• Total Rainwater harvesting capacity 10L(5L+2L+3L), where 2L has been
used as fire tank refill.
• Water is obtained in underground sump and overhead tank
• Purification of water is done by, water from pump is fed into a tank with
sand and aggregated and then passed to tank with carbon and resin. This
is sent to the sump for further purification and the purified water is sent
to the overhead tank
• The STP , the one time treated water is used for gardening, 2 time treated
water has been used for flush.
• The well purified water is used for hand washing, where the water stored
to overhead or sump.

HVAC
• The AC cycle begins when the fans forces air into the duct work leading
to opening in the room. These openings are called outlets and terminals.
The air is directed from the duct work through these outlets and into the
room where the air either heats or cools the space needed.

FIRE SAFETY
• The side wall, pendant sprinklers are used in the mall with
10’ distance where the sprinkler spread equally in 10’
distance.
• Ever 30m once the fire hose has been placed.
• Every 30m once fire stair case has placed
• 3x 2000L of fire water tank has placed in underground as
sumps
• 2x 1000L of fire tank has placed in terrace, which remain
filled at all stages.
• There’s totally 11 staircases in the mall with 30m-40m
distance
• Different types of extinguishers like 522extinguishers has
been used. Where K-type extinguisher has been used for PARKING Steel truss has been used in atrium space
kitchen.
• The smoke detectors were placed at regular intervals of 3m
distance.
SEATING
AC PLANT
• The forum mall has a centralized AC system. The AC plant
is situated in the basement. Two pipes of dia 300mm is
used to carry water and chilled water that run upto setback,
where chilled tower is situated.
• Water from the AC plant is also supplied to the fire safety
pipes
• The water tanks capacity of approxi. 10000kl is used for
AC plants. Central plant comprises the equipments such as
compressors, condensers, AHU, water chillers and cooling
tower.

• The air flows from the room enter the air stream and carried
along with it. The air then flows from the room through the
second outlets or return outlet
• The dust particle are removed from the air by a filter
installed in the ductwork. After the air is cleaned, it is either

THE BUILDING IS PLANNED ACCORDING TO THE THREE
BASIC LEVELS.

• The first one is Basement Parking.


• Second one is inner courtyard and commercial
space which has a close relation with the road.
• The last one starts from the upper platform where
the entrance of flats were constructed to the top
floor. (Residential).
• Fitness center, swimming pool, playground are
provided on this level which brings people together.
• Since the complex is placed in the center of the
Ankara, it has several transportation opportunities
which increase the accessibility of the site and by the
design of inner courtyard; the idea of social life area
is achieved.
• Social space in the central part of the building can
be reached with a single core.
• Architectural approach emphasizes the environmental
and energy sensitivity issues, and the concept of
green building is adopted as a sustainable
