Bowen™ Super II Fishing Jar
This is a straight-pull up jarring tool that employs a patented Bowen Super II
Fishing Jar
combination of proven principles of hydraulics and mechanics. It also
features a one-piece mandrel design (integral top sub) for greater torque
and bending strength than other jars. This jar is simple to assemble, and Bowen Super II
its unique design allows for easy, dependable operation. Fishing Jar Intensifier
Bowen Super II Fishing Jar Intensifier
The intensifier is designed to match and operate in conjuction with a
correlating Bowen Super and Super II fishing jar. This tool amplifies and
accelerates jarring action in straight pull operations.
Adjusting the pull load of the working string varies the load of the
Super II intensifier and jar. A lighter pull creates a lighter impact at the
stuck point, and a heavier pull creates a harder impact at the stuck
point.

The bumper sub is engineered to withstand sustained bumping action
in severe fishing, light drilling, and deep workover operations. We’ve
designed this tool with 151/2” of total stroke, and this stroke is always
available to the operator, even if rotation is present. It will transmit full
torque at all times during rotation and during bumping operations, and
the bore permits full circulation at all times.
