Recommendations: • Rehabilitation of existing housing and compatible infill
housing in the southern half of the neighborhood (Old Historic
Dreamland Park Dreamland Park)
• New housing of various types in the northern half of the
neighborhood (New Historic Dreamland Park)
• Transportation improvements throughout neighborhood:
• Intersection widening with round-a-bouts
• Opening of closed streets
• Streetscape improvements
• Addition of 3 new park/recreation areas
Recommendations: • Inclusion of missing middle housing types (cottage courts,
duplex, triplex, quadruplex, townhomes)
Columbia Heights • Mixed-use Pedestrian Mall along sound barrier

Village • Closing of streets such as Diggs Boulevard
