This course will introduce students to the evolution of history of architecture from
hoa 1 prehistoric to the current period. It will also highlight significant events, styles, architects,
buildings and other factors that would lead to an understanding of why various cultures
produced the architecture of their time.

Course Objective
At the end of the course, the students should be able to:
1. Comprehend the evolution of architecture from the prehistoric to the current period.

3. Make a comparative analysis of the architectural styles during the periods covered.
4. Produce free-hand sketches of buildings and architectural details.

7. Converse using architectural language and vocabulary in an articulate manner.
