BARANGAY RESOLUTION NO. 61

A RESOLUTION ADOPTING THE BARANGAY DISASTER RISK REDUCTION
AND MANAGEMENT PLAN (BDRRMP) FOR CALENDAR YEAR 2023-2025
WHEREAS, Republic Act 10121 IRR Rule 6 Section 4 (7) the Barangay Disaster
Risk Reduction Management Committee in coordination with its Action Officer, is
mandated to formulate and implement a comprehensive and integrated LDRRM Plan in
accordance with the national, regional and provincial framework, and policies on disaster
risk reduction in closed coordination with the municipal development council;
WHEREAS, to reduce/prevent the untoward bad effects of calamities and
unforeseen disasters, emergency measures and preparedness plans are to be adopted,
through the Barangay Disaster Risk Reduction Management Committee;
WHEREAS, a well-developed and formulated Disaster Plan will provide
strategies and guidelines in dealing with disasters or emergencies and through this plan a
coherent, integrated, efficient, and responsive disaster risk management at all level will
hopefully be achieved.
NOW THEREFORE, on motion of Hon. Reynaldo P. Basilio Jr., duly seconded
by all members present.
RESOLVED as it is HEREBY RESOLVED by the Sangguniang Barangay in
regular session assembled the adoption of the Barangay Disaster Risk Reduction
Management Plan for Calendar Year 2023-2025 of Barangay San Vicente, Sto. Tomas,
Pampanga.
RESOLVED FURTHER, that copies hereof be furnished the Municipal Mayor,
Municipal Disaster Risk Reduction Management Officer, Department of Interior and
Local Government and all concerned authorities for their information and guidance.
