Providing and fixing multi panelled tile based double skin modular partition of minimum 70 mm
thickness and of minimum 1200 mm height as per the following technical specifications.
The internal frame shall be made of 16 gauge (minimum 1.60 mm thick) MS material with epoxy
powder coating of 50 micron thick. Basic frame is of welded type with connectivity between frames is
with bolt & nut arrangement. There shall be 2 race ways to draw the electrical, computer, telephone
cables etc at skirting and table top levels.
The vertical connecting frames (corner as well as intermediate ones), top & side rails/trims, corner
caps shall be made of 18 gauge thick aluminium extruded sections with powder coating of appropriate
colour as per Bank's requirement.
The overall thickness of the partition shall be minimum of 70 mm with internal cavity between tiles shall
be 45 mm. The tiles shall be made of minimum 9 mm thick both side pre-laminated particle boards of
Novapon/Bhutahan boards/archidlam or equivalent make, with edges lipped with melamine edge
banding. The tiles shall have proper clipping arrangement to get fixed in to the MS frame work.
Necessary openings in the boards shall be made for fixing the electrical boxes/sockets, telephone
socket, LAN/computer Information outlets etc.
Only at select places the tile panels shall be finsihed with fabric of approved colour with basic rate not
less than 250 per metre or plain glass of 6mm thickness with necessary channels, clips, instead of
laminate finish. The colour combination of modular partition is as decided by the Bank and approval of
the shades shall be obtained at the time of finalising the shop drawings of the modular partitions and
before placing orders for fabrication. The payment is based on the elevation area of the modular
partition erected at site including trims/finished surface sizes.

Providing and fixing of Hollow metal fire rated doors as per IS 3614 part-1 & part-2 for stability
and integrity. Pressed Galvanized steel confirming to IS 277 with the following specification.
Recommended fire door shall have doors tested at CBRI or ARAI for maximum rating of 2hrs with
vision panel. Test certificates should be available for vision lites /panels as part of the fire door
assembly. Independent glass test certificates will not be accepted. Manufacturer test certificate
shall cover doors both single and double leaf and all doors supplied should be within the tested
specimen, deviation in specification and sheet thickness other than what is mentioned in the test
certificates are not allowed. Proper label confirming the type of door and the hourly rating is
mandatory. Approved manufacturer Shakti Hormann or approved equivalent.
Door frame shall be double rebate profile of size 143 x 57 mm made out of 1.60mm (16gauge)
minimum thick galvanized steel sheet. Frames shall be Mitered and field assembled with self tabs.
All provision should be mortised, drilled and tapped for receiving appropriate hardware. Rubber
door silencers should be provided on the striking jamb. Frames should be provided with back plate
bracket and anchor fasteners for installation on a finished plastered masonry wall opening. Once
frame installed should be grouted with cement & sand slurry necessary for fire doors on the clear

Door leaf shall be 46mm thick fully flush double skin door with or without vision lite. Door leaf
shall be manufactured from 1.2mm (18guage) minimum thick galvanised steel sheet. The internal
construction of the door should be rigid reinforcement pads for receiving appropriate hardware.
The infill material shall be resin bonded honeycomb core. All doors shall be factory prepped for
receiving appropriate hardware and provided with necessary reinforcement for hinges, locks, and
door closers. The edges should be interlocked with a bending radius of 1.4mm. For pair of doors
astragals has to be provided on the meeting stile for both active and inactive leaf. Vision lite
wherever applicable should be provided as per manufacturers recommendation with a beeding and
