My Best Friend
The best friend is an important person in life that not everyone is lucky to have.
Fortunately, I am one of those happy people. In this essay, I am going to tell you
about a girl who is a part of my life.
My best friend’s name is Varya and she is my sister. I saw her 17 years ago and
since then, we are always together. In childhood, there was a situation where my
sister was transferred to the senior group in kindergarten because of a strong desire
to be with me. We did everything possible together: we played, went to school, and
took participant in different competitions.
All say that we complement each other and call us yin and yang. It happens not
because we look alike; on the contrary, she has blue eyes and fair hair while I have
brown eyes and hair. We have a lot in common. Our taste in music is so similar,
that no matter who from us turns on the music, we will join in singing. She shares
my feelings, good and bad moments, and sometimes even clothes.
As for her temper, she is the kindest person that I have ever known. One day,
passing by our elderly neighbour, she saw that the woman was sweeping and
volunteered to help her. Moreover, she is the one among my friends who does the
best things for me and can make me smile when I am upset. Another trait of
character that I really like in her is persistence due to which she gets everything
she wants. For instance, last summer she decided to learn to swim and in two days
of training she could do it easily.
In my opinion, trust is very important in friendship. One must be able to share
anything with the best friend without the fear to be judged. Varya won my trust
and respect, so I confide in her more than anyone and know that she will support
and encourage me at any time.
I am glad to have the best friend because thanks to her my life is full of joy and
happiness. I wish every person could experience a friendship like this.
