General Terms of Sale:
1. Pricing:
a. All basic prices in the quotation are for white profile systems with glass and for the sizes mentioned therein.
Any specific technical needs may be requested for special qoutes and a change in contract shall be signed
between as for any additions / deletions.
b. The prevailing taxes and their rates are shown in the above quotation. In case of any change in the tax
structure, taxes and their rates applicable at the time of delivery of goods will be charged in the final bill. No
interim notice shall be given during execution of the project.
2. Payments:
a. 100% Advance with Purchase Order.
3. Fabrication:
a. Fabrication of door and Windows will start only after final measurements of the site openings have been
taken/recorded by our representative under the customer's supervision. The measurements shall be
authenticated by the customer's representative in writing before fabrication starts.
b. Any change / alteration / modification in design / specifications of Doors and Windows from the approved
design/specifications as per approved quotation submitted by SPECTRUM WINDOWS AND BEYOND, the
same needs to be confirmed and mutually agreed upon, in writing, before the final measurement followed by
fabrication.
c. Minor changes in size (up to ±2%)/design specifications may be accommodated without any impact on quoted
price/ confirmed order.
However, for major change in size/ design specifications, revised prices shall be charged after taking the
confirmation while raising the final bill.
d. In case of any alteration / change / modification in design/specifications required by the customer after the
doors and Windows have been fabricated, as per customer's approved size/design, the cost of such changes
on account of repair/new fabrication's shall be borne by the Customer and any product thus fabricated will be
considered as surplus and may be possessed by the client. Force Majeure clause for the glass will be
applicable, as the processed glass is sourced from authorized vendors.
4. Delivery:
a. Minimum four to six weeks from the date of the advance payment and confirmed order, whichever is later.
b. A fixed freight cost of Rs. 3500.00 ( Thirty Five Hundred ) per consignment, within NCR, will be applicable for
delivery of fabricated products Within NCR.
c. Transportation Cost of Deliveries beyond NCR will be charged as per actual.
d. Packing of Products, if required, may be requested and shall be charged Extra.
e. After 60 days of scheduled delivery date, if the fabricated goods are not taken by the customer, warehouse
charges at the rate of 2% of the order value per week shall be levied. Non NCR warehousing shall be at
actuals.
f. The customer will take full charge of the goods after receipt at site. SPECTRUM WINDOWS AND BEYOND
shall not be responsible for the safety / security of the goods supplied at customer's site.
5. Installation:
a. The installation by SPECTRUM WINDOWS AND BEYOND at the customer's site shall be on a continues
basis. In case the installation is delayed due to the non-availability of the working site or facilities to be
provided by the customer, the customer shall pay Rs. 500 per man-day for the delayed period.
b. Electricity connection required for installation shall be provided free of cost by the customer on each floor of
the building.
c. Scaffolding, if required, shall be in the scope of Customer.

d. For installations outside Delhi NCR, rail/road fare as well as the lodging and boarding of installation
supervisor/workers will be provided by the customer free of cost.
6. Warranty:
a. SPECTRUM WINDOWS AND BEYOND will extend a warranty of 20 years on white profiles & 10 years on
foiled for any discoloration and defects related to the manufacturing.
b. Operational warranty (Third Party) for 10 year on the hardware.
c. No warranty on glass once it is installed at site.
7. Offer Confirmation:
a. Please confirm your order along with a duly stamped and signed enclosed quotation.
b. Any verbal commitment of any sort from any representative will not be recognized and hence will not be
acceptable.
Pre-Requisites for installation of Windows:-
1. Walls should be plastered from inside and outside, with inside POP complete.
2. All jams, sills and soffits should be plastered.
3. Flooring (where doors have to be installed) should be complete.
4. Aperture should be smooth.
5. Base and top of window should be water leveled and sides should be in vertical plump.
6. Sill width should be more than the window width.
7. Opening should be accessible from inside for installation.
8. Grills: Adequate care should be taken if grills have to be installed.
a. For Horizontal slider Window: Grill should be provided on the outer face of slider before the installation of the
window.
b. For Casement windows: Screw type grill is recommended after installation of casement window.
9. Installation should happen before the last coat of paint. At least one coat of paint should be done before installation
begins.
10. Scaffoldings/ bracing should not interrupt the window openings where openings where windows are supposed to
be installed.
