Checklist For Normalization Before Energization Rev00
This document is a checklist for normalization before energization of electrical equipment. It contains 7 sections that outline steps to check circuits, equipment, cables, trip circuits, alarms, and auxiliaries. The checklist ensures connections and components are properly configured before energizing by having technicians verify things like CT and VT circuit connections, transformer components, cable terminations, trip link configurations, and auxiliary equipment connections. Upon completion, the checklist must be signed by technicians from the Customer Service Department, contractor, and transmission and construction contractor.

1. CT Circuits Normalization: 1.1. Make sure that all CT circuits are connected, shorted, isolated, and single point earthed as per the marked-up drawings. 1.2. Ensure proper connections and tightness for all CT circuits by a screwdriver, and pull each wire gently to ensure that all CT wires terminated properly. 2. VT Circuits Normalization: 2.1. Make sure that all VT circuits are connected, and isolated as per the marked-up drawings. 2.2. Ensure proper connections and tightness for all VT circuits by a screwdriver, and pull each wire gently to ensure that all VT wires terminated properly. 3. Power Transformer & Outdoor Equipment: 3.1. Ensure that there is no temporary grounding or shorting between phases of any transformer/reactor winding (high side, low side, and tertiary windings). 3.2. Confirm that all covers of mechanical protection, outdoor boxes, and panels are properly closed, tighten, and sealed. 3.3. Confirm that no oil leakage. 3.4. Confirm that NER grounding is properly earthed. 3.5. Confirm that there is no any temporary shorting across the primary terminals of the NER.
