Task 6

1. The key concepts of Tolman's purposive behaviorism that the author will apply in their teaching are: making goals clear and specific for students, ensuring students understand cognitive maps to apply to their study, and providing latent learning resources. 2. From Bandura's social learning theory, the author will have students observe behaviors, incorporate social learning, and use various forms of reinforcement. 3. The author will apply these concepts by stating goals clearly, using tools to sharpen cognition, integrating latent learning, evaluating students, and incorporating observation, cognition in learning, and reinforcement in their teaching.

Task 6

Assessment

1. Tolman’s Purposive Behaviorism

State a personal message derived from the key concepts of Tolman’s

purposive behaviorism. Use the table provided below:

Key Concept of Tolman’s Theory on Personal Message

Purposive Behaviorism

1. Learning is always purposive and goal- 1.1 To make my students do wat I require

directed. them to do, I should state the goal clearly

and specifically.

1.2 I'll make sure that my students have

goals and imprint the value of having

them in their heads.

1.3 I'll impart to my learners the drive and

confidence to pursue their goals,

especially education.

2. Cognitive maps help students perform 2.1 I have to make sure that my students

well. Organism select the shortest or understand what cognitive maps are in

easiest path to achieve a goal. order to effectively teach them. They can
use this to apply it to their study.

2.2 I'll use teaching tools that sharpen

cognition to help my students' cognitive

abilities.

3. Latent learning stays with the 3.1 My students will receive latent

individual until needed learning resources and instructions from

me since I am aware of their need for

them.

3.2 My students will benefit from my

integration and incorporation of latent

learning because they will become

familiar with all of the new information

they encounter.

4. Learning is influenced by expectations, 4.1 When it comes to the teaching

perceptions, representation, needs and process, I will first evaluate my students

other internal variables like hunger. based on any potential influences on their

in-class learning.

4.2 I'll take into account the factors that

affect how my students behave when

learning.

4.3 Following an evaluation of those

needs and concerns, I'll use a number of

productive teaching techniques and

encourage pupils to learn more.

2. Choose 3 key concepts of Bandura’s social learning theory then state how you

apply the concept as you teach. Use the table provided for this purpose.

3 Key Concepts of Albert Bandura How I apply it in my teaching

1. People can learn by observing other's 1.1 By giving my students activities that

their behavior as well as to see how they

learn behavior from others, I can apply

the concept of being an observer to my

learners.

1.2 This idea has the potential to be

extremely useful in my teaching method

for the behavior development of my

students, so I must take care to

incorporate learning that takes place in

social context.

2. Cognition plays a role in learning. 2.1 We can definitely produce a quality

output of learners if we invest more in the

role of teachers. Therefore, in order for

cognition to be applied to the learning

process and result in greater learning for

the students, the teacher must be

completely aware of their teaching

process.

2.2 Every learner can benefit from this

cognition in learning; it will enable me

and my pupils to be cognitively capable.

3. Awareness and expectations of future 3.1 Setting a reward would be a big assist

3.2 I'll incorporate various forms of

reinforcement that can benefit my pupils

in order to create an efficient teaching and

learning process.
