use this ADDFEM
Modules can be replaced during operation (hot swapping)
with the bus modules active
Transmission rates up to 12 Mbps
Consists of a PROFIBUS DP or PROFINET interface module IM 153, up to 8 or 12 I/O modules of the S7-300 automation system (structure with bus connection or
with active bus modules), and a power supply if applicable
As part of our established product portfolio, the SIMATIC S7-300 / ET 200M system families will generally be available until 2023.
Following the product phase-out declaration, products will be available as spare parts for another ten years.
IM153-1 : PROFIBUS DP standard slave, DP V1 slave with expanded functionality,128 bytes for inputs and 128 bytes for outputs each,SM; simple, non-
parameterizable CPs and FMs.
IM153-2 : PROFIBUS DP standard DP V1 slave with full S7 functionality for FM/CP
Redundancy through 2 x IM 153-2
Time stamp function and time-of-day synchronization
Configuration changes in RUN in the non-redundant system
Firmware update via bus and 244 bytes for inputs and 244 bytes for outputs each
The ET 200M modular I/O device comprises:
One IM 153 interface module
Up to 12 I/O modules of the S7-300 automation system and
If required, one power supply.
There are no slot rules for the I/O modules. Any combination is permissible.
The ET 200M is connected via an interface module IM 153 to PROFIBUS DP or PROFINET.
A connection to PROFIBUS DP using fiber-optic technology is additionally possible by
means of additional optical link modules (OLM) or the optical bus terminal (OBT)
A backplane (also known as a base unit) is a common bus shared by
many different subsystems. It allows a system to distribute both data and power.
The power supply backplane carries 12V power from the power supplies to the power distribution board over a pair of bus bars
A Server is a central place where information and
programs are stored and accessed by applications over
the network. A Web Server is a server which accepts a
request for data and sends the relevant document in
return, whereas an Application Server contains an EJB
( Enterprise Java Bean) container component as well to
run the enterprise applications. In most cases, the web
servers are the integral parts of the application
servers.which means an Application Server can perform
all the tasks that a Web Server does.
servers are used for collection of data at processor level.
engineering station used for creating projects on which
the processor run. it include 1.creating logic, 2. designing
graphics display, 3. administration which execute tasks
through software package.
Application server can be installed in a
fault-tolerance configuration (1-out-of-2 principle) to ensure high system availability.
The PROFIBUS DP protocol is used for
communications between I/O modules and Automation server.
