Lord, make me an instrument of thy peace.
Adapted by Sebastian Temple Where there is hatred, let me sow love;
Where there is injury, pardon;
Where there is doubt, faith;
Where there is despair, hope;
Make me a channel of Your peace Where there is darkness, light;
Where there is hatred let me bring Your love Where there is sadness, joy.
Where there is injury, Your pardon, Lord
And where there's doubt, true faith in You O divine Master, grant that I may not so much seek
To be consoled as to console,
Oh, Master, grant that I may never seek To be understood as to understand,
So much to be consoled as to console To be loved as to love;
To be understood as to understand For it is in giving that we receive;
To be loved as to love with all my soul It is in pardoning that we are pardoned;
It is in dying to self that we are born to eternal life.

It is in pardoning that we are pardoned Acolo unde este ofensa s-aduc iertare,

Acolo unde este neincredere s-aduc credinta,
Acolo unde este disperare s-aduc speranta,
Acolo unde este intuneric s-aduc lumina ta,

O, Stapane, nu te-am cautat atat


Spre a fi consolat... cat pentru a consola,
Spre a fi inteles... cat pentru a intelege,
Spre a fi iubit... cat pentru a iubi.

Deoarece:

Dand... primesti,
Pierzand... gasesti,
Iertand... esti iertat,
Murind... reinvii la viata eterna!
