Course Objectives:
This course facilitates the students to learn and apply materials management tools and techniques
to improve business competitiveness in the supply chain.
Expected Course Outcome:
The course is aimed at
    1) Apply the principles and techniques of materials management, whilst ensuring their
       congruence with the mission and goals of the organization
    2) Learn inventory control tools and techniques to improve business competitiveness in the
       supply chain.
    3) Identify specific and special features of the vendor management for cost effective
       operations.
    4) Develop the ability to work independently in procurement activities with additional
       knowledge of quality management and materials handling systems.

Development; Procurement: Ordering Quantity, Procurement Types, Steps of Procurement,
