MANDATORY MONETARY BENEFITS OF

MONTHLY-PAID & DAILY-PAID EMPLOYEES


RECEIVING STATUTORY MINIMUM WAGE

Definition of Terms:

A. Monthly- Paid Employee - paid 365 days in a year, including unworked Sunday (rest
day), regular holiday, and special non-working holiday.
The estimated equivalent monthly rate (EEMR) at P570
daily minimum wage is P17,337.50

B. Daily- Paid Employee - paid 313 days in a year on the days actually worked, and on
unworked regular holidays. No work, No pay on Sunday
(rest day), and special non-working holiday. EEMR at
P570 daily minimum wage is P14,867.50.

Coverage:

1. Statutory Minimum Wage (SMW) inclusive of COLA (P 570 per day)


2. Holiday Pay on 12 Regular Holidays
3. Premium Pay on work during Sundays, and 4 Special Non-Working Holidays
4. Overtime Pay for rank-and-file employees
5. Night shift Differential Pay (for work between 10pm - 6am) for rank-and-file
employees .
6. 13th Month Pay for SMW employees with 1 month service, based on Statutory
Minimum
Wage (SMW). (P P17,337.50 / P14,867.50)
7. Service Incentive Leave/Sick Leave/Vacation Leave/Emergency Leave of 5 working
days for employee with at least 1 year of service. Convertible to Cash if unused at
end of the year (P2,850)
8. Separation Pay for termination on just cause with 1 year service
9. Retirement Pay equivalent to one-half month salary based on latest SMW excluding
COLA for every year of service, upon reaching 60 but not beyond 65 years old
10. SSS & EC, Philhealth, PagIbig contribution of Employer
11. Paternity Leave of 7 calendar days after delivery/miscarriage, to the first 4
deliveries/miscarriage of employee’s lawful wife. Not cumulative, and not
convertible to cash
12. Maternity Leave of 60 calendar days (miscarriage) or 105 calendar days (normal or
C-section delivery) for married or unmarried female employee. Additional 15
calendar days for solo parent
13. Parental Leave for Solo Parent of 7 calendar days every year, with 1 year service,
upon presentation of DSWD Solo Parent ID Card. Not cumulative, and not
convertible to cash
14. Leave for Victim of Violence Against Women and Her Child of 10 calendar days, if
qualified. Not cumulative, and not convertible to cash
15. Special Leave Benefit for female employee for 2 months for gynecological disorder
that requires surgical procedures, if qualified. Not cumulative, and not convertible to
cash.
JULY 2022 AGES COMPENSATION PACKAGE

A. REGULAR EMPLOYEE BENEFITS other than those Mandated:

1. Annual Dental and Routine Medical Check-up of regular employees. Not convertible to
cash (P 2,500).
2. Birthday Gift P 1,000 to all regular/probationary/project-based employees with 6 months
service
3. Financial Aid P 10,000 for Death of immediate family member (spouse and children or
parents) with 2 years service, or upon management discretion.

4. 2-Year Vocational/Technical/IT Course Full Scholarship of first-born child, subject to a


passing academic performance on all semesters for a regular employee with 2 years of
service, or upon management discretion.

5. Company Loan, interest-free, equivalent to maximum of 3 months basic monthly salary,


payable in 2 years, starting 3 months after loan grant, for regular status employees with 3
years of service, or upon management discretion. Approval of Company Loan is dependent
on status of other existing loans availed with other government agencies by the employee.

6. Soil Testing Daily Field Allowance of Engineers/Supervisors/Drilling Operators, and


Drilling Aides.

7. Free LTO Driver’s License Renewal worth P1,500 for Company Driver with at least 2
years service.

B. ADDITIONAL EMPLOYEE BENEFITS

1. Employment status of Daily-Paid Employees is converted to a Monthly-Paid Employee after


3 years service, or upon management discretion based on meritorious performance.
2. A School Opening Loan, interest- free, equivalent to maximum of 2 months SMW, payable
in 6 months after 2 months of loan approval for regular status employee with 2 years
service, or upon management discretion.

3. Motorcycle Vehicle Loan, interest-free, for any motorcycle with mandatory comprehensive
insurance, payable in 3 years for regular status employees with at least 3 years service, or as
per management discretion. Vehicle registration shall be in possession of the Company, and
released only upon full payment of loan. Employee with outstanding Company Loan is not
qualified to apply for Motor Vehicle Loan, unless the Company Loan has been 50% paid.

4. De Minimis Benefits:

a) Rice Subsidy P500/P1000 every month for Single/Married with family, regular status
employee with at least 2 years of service, or as per management discretion.
b) Refund of Deposit of Company Uniform and PPEs for those employees with at least 1
year of service, or upon completion of project assignment before 6 months, and return of
said items. No refund for unreturned item.
