Abraham's Test of Faith

Abraham trusted God and was willing to sacrifice his son Isaac as a test of faith. They traveled to the mountain God had chosen, where Abraham built an altar and bound Isaac to it. As Abraham was ready to sacrifice his son, an angel called out to stop him. God had provided a ram caught in nearby bushes as the sacrifice instead of Isaac. God blessed Abraham for his willingness to obey and sacrifice his son if required to demonstrate his complete trust in God.
