Boolean Search Quick Guide PDF

Boolean searches allow recruiters to combine search terms and limit or broaden results. Operators like AND, OR, and NOT are used to refine searches by requiring or excluding certain words. For example, using AND would find resumes containing both "product manager" and "account representative" exactly as phrases. OR broadens searches by finding resumes that contain any of the terms, while NOT excludes specific words. Boolean searches help recruiters efficiently search large resume databases and find qualified candidates.
