AUGUST CALENDAR

I hope everyone is enjoying our HOT SUMMER and finding places to stay cool. I look forward to staying cool, and working together at the CAROLINA CRAFTSMANS SHOW which begins August 5th. This project comes under Community Affairs. 3RD BOD MTG @ Laura has sent out notices of attire to be worn, Aprons will be 6:30pm FS#6 Budget provided there. If any changes in your scheduled time to work, confirmed, Fall Sumplease call Laura ASAP. mit planned. Our General Meeting that is coming up, will be a fully packed evening. Beginning @ 6:30pm. Our social time will be hosted by the Board of Directors, and I suggest you bring an empty stomach with you, you wont be sorry. Our meeting begins at 7:00pm when our Officers relate their club 11TH GENERAL current activities and the Department/Committee Chairs relate their ideas for each pertaining area. MTG. @ FS#6 @ Each department has had meetings with their committee and/or in the process of doing so. Please 6:30PM First meet- do not hesitate to sign up for a committee, if you already have not done ing of calendar year. so. We need all members participating, together, to maintain the level of excellence we have shown in caring & providing for our community in the past, & of which is still expected of the MBWC today. We are known CAROLINA throughout our Community for promoting Educational, Social, & Civic CRAFTSMAN progress within our community, done through service, leadership, & finanSHOW 5TH,6TH,7TH cial assistance. Kate Jensen (Secret Pal )has mailed out Secret Pal Information forms, and HAPPY BIRTHDAY if interested in participating, please bring with you to the meeting. Names will be dropped in a hat for each member to draw from. Participating in the SP exchange is actually an avenue Sybil Lay 1rst to getting to know a members likes/interests, and recognizing secretly their birthdays, Gretchen Abney 8th holidays, special days, etc. by presenting them a card or little Circe.
