PM-2010

Technical Data Sheet

Revision Date:2017-06-30 NO. WHPU _0023

Name:WANNATE ® PM-2010 Version:7.0

Application

WANNATE® PM-2010 is a mixture of high functionality isocyanate with diphenylmethane

diisocyanate. It is a brown liquid at room temperature.
WANNATE® PM-2010 is widely used in the production of rigid PU foam. Due to its unique
composition, WANNATE® PM-2010 provides better batch to batch consistency, flowability
and post-cure property. WANNATE® PM-2010 can provide light foam color and foaming
ratio. Therefore, it is particularly suitable for large refrigerators, freezers and complex parts
where good flowability is demanded.

Typical physical and chemical properties

Test Item(s) Specification(s)

Density (25℃)/(g/cm3 ) 1.220-1.250
Acid Content/% ≤0.020
Hydrolysable Chlorine/% ≤0.20

Package(s)

210L iron drums, 250kg/drum

Storage

Since WANNATE® PM-2010 is a reactive chemical, reaction with atmospheric moisture

happens easily and leads to the formation of insoluble urea and carbon dioxide gas, which
can result in pressure build-up in closed containers and viscosity increase of the product.
Containers must therefore be absolutely dry and carefully sealed after congested with
nitrogen.
Containers of WANNATE® PM-2010 should be kept properly closed and stored indoors at
ambient temperature (15~35℃) in a well-ventilated area. Storage at low temperature (below
5℃) may lead to some crystallization; this material must, therefore, be protected from frost.

If crystallization does occur, the material should be heated to 70-80℃ to melt it out, and
should then be thoroughly agitated before use.
Extended storage at temperatures above 50℃ is not recommended to prevent from the
formation of insoluble solids and viscosity increase.

Shelf Life

Under recommended storage conditions, the shelf life of WANNATE® PM-2010 is one year
since the date of production.
