AIR POLLUTION
Air pollution is a well-known environmental health risk. When a brown haze settles over a city, exhaust
billows across a busy highway, or a plume rises from a smokestack, and we know what we're looking at. Some
air pollution is not visible, but its pungent odor warns you.

CAUSES MITIGATION
Vehicle emissions. Using public transports
Fuel oils/natural gas used to heat homes. Reduction of forest fires and smoking
Byproducts of power generation. Use of fans instead of Air Conditioner
Particularly coal-fueled power plants. Avoid using of products with chemicals
Fumes from chemical products. Implement Afforestation

WATER POLLUTION
The second most prevalent pollution after contaminated air is water pollution. This is harmful to the
global community, environment, and all living organisms considering that most living organisms are highly
dependent on clean, fresh, and, healthy water.

CAUSES MITIGATION
Microbiological pollution Stop or avoid throwing trashes and disposing
Groundwater pollution of waste into the water.
Chemical pollution Implement a continual clean-up drive on our
Nutrient pollution seas, rivers, lakes, etc.
Oxygen-depletion pollution Implement laws to lessen the waste disposal of
Surface water pollution, etc. large industries to the waters, and such.

LAND POLLUTION
The deterioration of the earth’s land surfaces, at and below ground level. Because of the solid and
liquid waste materials that contaminates ground water and soil, which these are the things that accumulate that
causes the Land to be polluted which contains both hazardous and non-hazardous waste.

CAUSES MITIGATION
Agricultural land pollution Reduce, re-use, and recycle
Non-Biodegradable solid waste Buy organic products
Industrial waste Reduce wastes
Deforestation Avoid use of chemicals in
Mining farming
