Role:
As a head of supply chain & logistics, you'll be responsible for designing and implement
strategy for all logistics activities, including warehousing, transportation, and order
fulfillment of our products. Among other responsibilities, you may be tasked with building
and maintaining relationships with 3PL partners, developing a core carrier program across
all modes of transportation, overseeing trade compliance activities, and measuring the
effectiveness of relevant supply chain and logistics partners. Your goal? Optimize
PETRABRANDS & KHAOS BEAUTY’s supply chain operations for maximum efficiency and
scalability.
The head of supply chain & logistics will have experience owning supply chain initiatives and
bring a working knowledge of distribution and fulfillment operations, domestic and
international transportation processes across various modes, inventory control, and
customs/FDA compliance. As the Head of Supply Chain and Logistics, you will play a crucial
role in the success of the company. You will be expected to set ambitious goals for the
department, monitor progress, and adjust strategies as needed to ensure that the company
meets its supply chain and logistics objectives.

Business Unit Product Management and Finance Teams, you will ensure that the company's
regional and global demand trends are aligned with the overall direction. To excel in this
role, you should possess excellent communication skills, be adept at analysing data, and
have a strong understanding of supply chain management.
Responsibilities:
1. Conduct all aspects of the demand planning process to achieve availability and
working capital goals set by the organization's business plans and strategic
objectives.
2. Develop forecasts for item-level and aggregate products for relevant product
families.
3. Collaborate with Sales, Marketing, R&D, and Finance to agree upon a feasible unit
volume forecast through the demand consensus process.
4. Ensure that appropriate and accurate data is available and reviewed during Sales,
Inventory, and Operations Planning (SIOP) meetings to establish an accurate demand
plan.
5. Acquire a deep understanding of the company's products and processes to optimize
SIOP execution.
6. Deploy, develop, track, and report results to drive key performance indicators, such

7. Analyse finished goods inventory levels against forecasted and actual sales to adjust
the manufacturing plan and prevent stock-outs.
8. Notify management if the requested demand cannot be met and suggest
alternatives to satisfy demand.
9. Provide input and suggestions for improving supply chain strategies, policies, and
practices to attain Best-in-Class Supply Chain Management.
10. Lead efforts to reduce backorders and resolve problems that arise in delivering to
and from global locations to customers.
11. Continuously improve the accuracy of both aggregate and key item/portfolio
forecasts.

7. Manage supply and inventory plan variances daily, including unexpected demand,

8. Identify and recommend corrective actions for excess, obsolete, and end-of-life
inventories.
9. Coordinate with sales and operations/supply chain & logistics teams to update
forecasts in a timely manner and drive disposition of excess/obsolete inventory.
10. Conduct research on Amazon and other marketplace using different software like
AMZScout, JungleScout, Keepa, Helium10 etc.
11. Participate in business and finance meetings with financial controllers to discuss
sales vs. inventory development.
