INSTRUCTION FOR USE
Thank you for purchasing this Price Computing Scale.
To enable you to use this scale correctly, we suggest that you read these
instruction carefully.
1. It must be prevented from getting wet. If it gets wet, please wipe it dry with a
cloth. If there is something wrong with the machine, please contact your
supplier.
2. Keep it away from high temperatures and damp conditions.
3. Don’t bump the scale against other items, nor load it with excessively heavy
weights (The load must not exceed the maximum capacity of the scale).
4. If the indicator is not going to be used for some time, please clean it and store it
in a plastic bag in dry conditions. A desiccant sachet may be included to
prevent any moisture build up.
5. Objects to be weighed should be placed at the center of the platter, and can’t
exceed the dimension of the platter.
6. Any opinions and suggestions on this product are welcome.
PREPARING TO USE THE SCALE
1. Please locate the precision scale on a stable, flat desk and don’t put it on a
shaking or unstable desk. Adjust the four leveling feet to make the scale
horizontal. Make sure that the bubble level is in the center of the circle.
2. Keep the scale away from places with strong drafts or excessive temperature
fluctuations (e.g. from direct sunlight or the air louver of an air conditioner).
3. Please use an independent power outlet to avoid interruption by other electrical
appliances.
4. Don’t put any object on the scale while switching on the scale.
5. Please keep the scale switched on for 15~20 minutes before operation.
6. When the low battery indicator appears in the right corner of the display,
replace the dry batteries or recharge the battery.

1-2 KEYBOARD FUNCTION
0 9
~ : Numeral key. Press the keys to input the numbers (0 ~ 9).
00 : press the key once to enter a double zero ‘00’

100g : Press the key, and press the 1 key to select price unit “kg”.
Press the key, and press the 2 key to select price unit “100g”.
The indication “3” will be displayed on the UNIT PRICE.
NCU
€ : Shift key. (Euro / NC).
Key in unit price in pricing mode, the TOTAL PRICE displays the Total
price of them.
Press this key again, the TOTAL PRICE displays the converted total
price; the UNIT PRICE will display the NC (national currency) symbol. In
this mode, it can not continue to weigh another item until it is pressed this
key once again to return to the pricing mode.
CE : Clear Key. Press the key to clear the unit price.
C : Clear Key. Press the key to clear the last digit of unit price.
0
: Zero key. Press the key to re-zero the scale, and the zero range is ± 2
% of full capacity.
T
: Tare key.
Press the key once to deduct the container weight. And the tare
indication “3” is displayed in the WEIGHT. When the objects are
removed from the weigh pan, WEIGHT will display a negative value.
In the FIX mode, press the key once again to exit the Tare Function
and the tare indication “3” goes off.

If the weight value is negative and the tare is not active then press the
key 0 to zero the scale.
Multi-tare function: A negative tare value is not allowed. The tare
range could extend to 4 digits.
FIX : Shifted the FIX unit price mode (on / off).
FIX mode off ⇒ FIX indication “3” goes off in TOTAL PRICE
I Weight is at zero, the unit price will be automatically cleared after 2
seconds.
II In the taring mode, after the object is removed from the weigh
pan, the tare value will be cleared automatically.
FIX mode on ⇒ FIX “3” sign is on in TOTAL PRICE
I Weight is at zero or at any weight,
Press CE key to clear the unit price.
II In the taring mode, after the object is removed from the weigh pan,
the WEIGHT will display the negative value,
press T
key to clear the tare value.
: Confirm key.

1-3 ERROR MESSAGES
AD value 0 220,000 320,000 …… 524,288

(Normal condition)
Suggestion: Internal value should be within 220,000 ~ 320,000 before
linearity calibration and weight calibration otherwise adjust resistance of R30
and R31 until the internal value is within this range, or change the load cell.
⇒ ZERO (after calibration) is over +10% of TOTAL SPAN
⇒ ZERO (after calibration) is under-10% of TOTAL SPAN
⇒ ZERO (before calibration) is higher than 320,000
⇒ ZERO (before calibratetion) is lower than 220,000
⇒ WEIGHT shown on the display is over the maximum
capacity+9d (9 divisions)
NOTES BEFORE FUNCTION SETTING
♦ Before enter the calibration mode, remove the mini jumper SWA1 on the
board to the ADJ position.
♦ Completed the calibration; remove the mini jumper SWA1 on the board back
to the LOCK position.
♦ F6 is not protected by the calibration switch and can be accessed at any
time.
♦ Except the desired need, no linearity calibration is available.
♦ Finished function setting, set F8 on LOCK position.

CHAPTER 2 SERVICE MODE ACCESS
Press and hold the key, and switch the scale on. The scale resets back to
zero and enter the Function setting mode.
Press T key in turn, the WEIGHT will display F0 ~ F9 in cycle.

SWA1 is in the ADJ position.

F4 ⇒ EXCHANGE RATE SETTING
To access F4, put F8 to the UNLOCK position.
F4 can be accessed without LOCK and ADJ.
Up to 24 currencies can be configured. And the exchange rate of these 24
groups can be changed if required.
The exchange rate from 00 ~ 09 groups are memorized as a table in the EEPROM.

<2> When the Counter is set over 10 times, G Value can’t be changed. If G Value
need to be changed, set SWA1 in the ADJ position, and Counter is set as 1.
