MICROSCOPIC DESCRIPTION:
Sections examined from specimens 1 and 2 reveal multiple
fragments of a neoplastic lesion exhibiting increased
cellularity. The individual neoplastic cells show moderate to
severe atypia, and show increased mitotic activity (16 mitoses/
10 HPF). Multinucleated tumour giant cells are identified.
Necrosis and microvascular proliferation are not identified.
Immunohistochemical stains were performed which show the
following reactivity pattern:
GFAP Positive.
Ki-67 Increased (30%).
p53 Negative.
